Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So I've been thinking, why don't we show all the talent that everyone on EE has? So, I know it's late in the year, but you have nothing to fear, for this year's spring, I will bring, the talent show of the year!
What you have to do: You have to have actual talent. You can't just come uninvited, either. You will show your talent in EE and on the forum, and I will pick the best to move on.
Where you have to be: There will be four groups, Poetry, History, Story, and Talent. If you have qualified, go to the box in which you have qualified.
How the contest goes: For the history contest, I will pick a group to show their talent. For example, I will give you a major person in history and quiz you. I will tell you the name of the person, and you must tell what they did in what time. For example:"Rose Parks was a major leader in the civil rights movement in the 1950's."
For the writing contest, you can post your short stories and poems here. You cannot copy someone's work, for you will be automatically disqualified, kicked out of the competition, and no luck of getting into next year's competition. Also, to qualify, you must post a short story or poem here. I will choose ten qualifiers for each group.
For the talent contest, you must show an adequate display of minigames, art, or boss worlds, or it's back to old cloths and porridge for you.
If you don't know which group you belong in, Poetry is purple, Story is red, Talent is green, and History is blue.
I will also choose judges. To qualify as a judge, you must be either beta or real, payed chat. I will know you are chat because I would have seen you chatting before free chat. You must also be a good, fair judge, or you will have the disadvantages above. You must also have good, fun, easy to play minigame, boss, or art worlds, and be well-known in the community. Your boxes will be white and high up, and you will get the edit. You must use the scores between 0 and 10 to judge them, and scores will be posted on the board.
Happy Talenting!
I saw the comment that said there are no prizes, so I'll schnazz it up a bit. The winners of each group will receive a thank-you for participating and congratulations post, so have fun!

Can I enter for the story contest?
Cool contest (on topic).
Off topic , @Arceus63, since when were you made king and decide what's appreciated (look at what u said on ur -rep and at how you act) n what's not in this 'SOCIETY'? What, you decided that ur god, you're our *CEO*, our all, bcuz u have a *REPS*?!?! You don't decide what's appropriate, appreciated, or any of that shoiiiite. Don't talk to me like I'm your daughter that you beat every night ( on da butt! ;D). You can get aaaaaall the ROPS and ENERGIES you want, but I think I'll keep mah self-respect.

Hmm I don't see any prizes so I don't think many people are going to
A) Spend multiple days creating a world
B) Answer questions on the subject History
C) Create a short story etc.
D) Make a poem up
There's also no guarantee that you will win and there is nothing for participating.
So no prizes will mean less submissions, and people will think your not being appreciative of the fact that they spent time creating their submission.

I have a couple of things to ask,
What do you mean by short stories and poems? Like would you put a word limit to them?
Also what do winners/judges get as a prize? Not many people would bother doing something for nothing.

I also have a few questions:
This sounds fun, first of all, but--
When is this happening? You said spring, but thats quite far away...Why not do it sooner? Maybe in a month?
Does playing an instrument count? If so, I would like to enter for that.

The 'History' contest seems a bit skewed and not on the err skill level of the others since history is nowhere near coming up with something original.
edit that being said i choose history because lol

I shall choose History too so I may beat Zoey.
Hey, guys. I saw the comments, and they were mainly consisting of "Where are the prizes?" or "Can it be sooner?" So, I'm going to let the community vote on the date if July doesn't work. Also, you guys can come up with some more prizes if you like. Play an instrument does count, and anyone who is posting their talents here may enter. So after you know your talent, you're automatically entered.
But you must post your registration here. If not, and you just show up, :/. Also I have to come up with more groups. If you do not know the rules, look at them above.
Also, for short stories, ten paragraphs maximum. For poems, twenty-five stanzas maximum.
If you do not think a rule is fair, post here, and I'll see if your complaint can be modified.
Thanks!
Call it the Everybody Edits Forums contest, because if you call it an Everybody Edits contest everyone would believe it has to do with EE.
Sign me up for the history contest, I am a history NERD!
For example: Rose Parks was a white man who went on a train and gave up her seat in the back of the cart for a black man. He was given presidental recognition for this great deed. He later died in the Boston Marathon Shooting.

Giftboxfan wrote: First, this is wrong. Rosa Parks was a black woman in the civil right movement, and it was the 1950's! And, okay, you're in. But I will test all the history people in a quiz tomorrow on the 21st of June.

Quite obviously, Muffin was being sarcastic. Also learn how to quote.

I don't see what's wrong with July, July is fine with me as the beginning.
I will join to write a poem(s)(not sure how all of this is planned)
EDIT: Just realised you're banned. I guess contest will be postponed -.-
