Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I made a new design, and want to know what you think about it. If possible send me a screen shot of how it looks on your computer and let me know what browser you are using. I looked at it on a few cross browsing things, but they are so slow, and run on computers from the '80s...
Here it is: http://www.jawapa.bl.ee
Admins- If the ad thing is against the rules, i'll change it.

Google Chrome Version 35.0.1916.153 m
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
It's nice but the font isn't anti-aliased and looks meh.

@BuzzerBee - The font looks like it's Arial. It is supposed to be Quattrocento Sans.
And I'm working on making everything centered vertically because it looks bad on bigger screens.

Hey good job. I like how when you click a button it scrolls down and that looks cool!

Why not add some kind of picture in the background?
A more colorful and blurred one would work too, though.
Also your scrolling code seems to be quite laggy.
Maybe this one is better:
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> function scrollToAnchor(aid){ var aTag = $("a[name='"+ aid +"']"); $('html,body').animate({scrollTop: aTag.offset().top},'slow'); } </script>
It can be used like this:
<div onclick="scrollToAnchor('who');">Click Me :b</div>
For scrolling to the <a> tag with name "who":
<a name="who"> Some content. </a>
Working Example: http://jsfiddle.net/memylo/pK97b/1/

Jawapa, in your pic, the inside of the text boxes for the contact me is the bg color. FOr me in firefox, it's white.

@Mylo - Thanks! The scroll was fixed. And as for the image background, idk. I've never really messed with images because I would rather use colors. However I like the blurred image you made.
@Anch - Hmm... it should be fixed. I have more problems with Firefox than any other browser...

It's definitely not Arial.
Either way, it looks very choppy.
EDIT: I'm positive it's the same font you use, but maybe something is wrong with the importation.

Hmmm maybe I'll change the font then. Seems to be a problem on bigger resolutions.

Websitre templates? Clicking on them makes an error.

Its not issue by the font, its because different browsers anti-alias them different.

Although, using the standard web-safe fonts is easier and probably better.

Yeah sorry, I haven't completed the design yet. I got the basics up then went back to fix some stuff. I was reallly tired and my CSS code was about 6 miles long. I also thought it was a little plain so I'm adding more stuff
@Mylo - Now that I don't feel dead, I could have just added a shadow to it and it would've been fixed. ...nvm forgot that done weird things on Firefox and doesn't do anything on Chrome.

Yes, no?
I feel it might be a bit big... but I can fix that

Looks definitely better, in my opinion
It filled up a lot of empty space.
I'm alternating the background color between #262632 and #131319. It makes it look a little less... plain.

Fixed the text.

Isn't live yet, but I'm working on it.

Is my about page doing this? Or is it just not loading quick enough when the screen shot is taken?
