Something I've Been Thinking About Over The Dead Developement

While all this commotion about when he's gonna update EE, I've been thinking about AFTER that. After Chris is done with updating EE... If he were to quit, or if he were to start on another great game. Then... I thought of both reasons and what would happen. I wanted to discuss and think of more things that would happen; or even another thing Chris would do.

If Chris went into retirement:
The forums would go dead in a month or two.
Players will beg for more things he could make.

If Chris went into developement of a new game:
The Forums would go crazy due to happiness.
We would start asking for sneak peaks, pictures, betas, and such.
We would make crazy suggestions like we do for EE.

Well, EE will never really truly be done, so that's sortof out of the question.

Like a hiatus? Most likely when us players will be satisfied for a while, Chris will probably stop installments for a while

If Chris was to stop updating this game, players would leave, beta wouldn't be worth anything and eventually the game would be closed because it wouldn't be worth running it on the server any longer, with no income to support how much it cost. Updates won't stop for as long as this game is running and is popular.

I honestly don't think Chris will retire any time soon. If he does; he probably will have a friend take over; or he'll leave the game dead. It will stay alive for a few months; sure; but when the fans get bored of having no new content; they'll leave.
