Press the PrtSc Sysrq button on the top right of your keyboard-goto Paint/Photoshop/Gimp or whatever-click edit-paste. Then it should be there. then you can crop it. and copy-paste your smileys.

You should, every computer I've seen has one. Do you have an Apple Mac? Maybe the button's different. It should say PrtSc SysRq or Print Screen.
