Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Alright, so I hadn't played Sunshine in years. All I remembered was that I was really close to completing it, but never really finished it. There's a difference between beating a game and completing it. Beating a game is generally easy and straightforward. Do this, do that, watch the credits, you're done. Completing a game is a whole 'nother thing. Completing a game is when you get every single item, finish all sidequests, etc. Well, Super Mario Sunshine was the first Gamecube game I ever owned, so all these years later, it seemed ironic that I hadn't completed it yet. I dug out my copy of Sunshine, blew off the dust, and loaded it into my Wii. The disc worked fine. I discovered that I was only three Shine Sprites away from completion. My friend and I made a new file and we played for a while. The next day, I had an epiphany: I needed to complete this game. I spent the entire day hunting for blue coins. Ask anybody that's ever completed Sunshine, and they'll tell you how frustrating blue coins are to find. After hours and hours of thumb-spraining agony, I had finally gotten all 120 Shine Sprites. So I beat the final boss again and watched the credits. Waiting, waiting, I wondered what the special 120-Shine Surprise was. . . . It was a picture of the cast with some text telling me to "have a relaxing vacation". And that was it. The end. Oh, and now there's a picture of a sun by my file name. Whoop-dee-freaking-doo.
Just thought I'd vent my frustration here. Post your least favorite 100-percent-completion surprise here, if you want. There's a lot of bad ones.

When I was itteh bitteh and still liked pokeman:
I got all 150 pokemens, I go to this one guy who told me to visit him when I was done.... And then he shows me a certificate. That's it. I can't even view it unless I talk to the guy.

Its settled. Nintendo makes bad endings.
(I still havnt beat it either, thanks! )
Samba De Amigo. It only took 2 days to complete, but it almost killed me with all that rapid shaking, that I actually needed to take a break on one level in Very Hard mode. After I finally got all levels beaten and all games unlocked, Wedding March beaten and unlocked, and completed the tutorial, I get... the mode select screen saying "Completed: 100%". ANYTHING ELSE PLZ?

The control pad on my old Gameboy Advance restricts me from pressing "->" without getting thumb blisters. But, that's dedication, man. I've never dreamed of "catching 'em all

When you beat the game, it needs to give you total freaking Godpowers to float around and destroy everything :3

You just lost the game.
and this game " suikoden " if you get all 150 ( i think ) characters, you get nothing, BUT! if you play suikoden 2, you can load a file from suikoden 1 and get a secret character, the charcater is the main person in suikoden 1, its not bad, but still not worth it, although, its a good game
The Metroid series is pretty bad about this too. Usually just a "Your rate of item collecting: 100%, see you next mission!" And a pic or vid in the background
