I once read that the Cambridge University study never existed, and that there were other problems with the theory about scrambled words with the first and last letter in place. Something about how it's partly true but it only works because all the words are in context in a sentence... But I definitely remember the part where they said Cambridge never did any such study. I can't remember. I wish I could find that damn article...
