EE Currency System for Players?

I was wondering: If I made a level in EE that contained a currency system, would anybody use it?

This is how it would work: The level would have a lobby for easy chatting and deal-making. Outside the lobby would be minis. Each time a mini is completed, you would get x amount of coins (or whatever the currency would be called).

This currency could be traded with other players, obviously, and that's about it. So you could...

-Pay someone to make a level for you.
-Sell your art-talent, x coins for each 1/2 hour worked.
-Buy someone's concept and execute it in your own level.
-Have contests!

I thought that I would definitely use this level, but I want to make SURE that 80% of the community will use it.

So with that, a poll:

Should BuzzerBee make an in-game EE Currency system?

YES: 15
NO: 6

The good thing is, it's User-Run. So noobs can trade with noobs and vets can trade with vets.

I vote yes for fun, however I just don't see how this will work out well. Who would sell their art for "imaginary gold." I would definitely not sell any of my minis. A lot of hard work goes into every mini and every art people make, the good ones won't sell it. I am sure of it.

I support it yes, but not yet. There are too many flaws still. I'll post again when I have more time.

No. This isn't practical.
First of all, no one would pay you to have your art concept, they would just copy it when you don't notice.
Secondly, there isn't anything else to buy with the money, so people who make their own worlds will find this money useless (since they don't need other people to make art for them).

Now that sounds like Lydians.

Inventing money out of nothing however it might have its uses but will be fatal and lethal. But still, I appreciate its usage and hope for no one to think more worse than me.

I do like the idea. (I've had it myself before, for sure!)
The problem I come across is finding what to spend it on. It's incredibly easy to reward people with coins. The challenge is finding something for them to buy. In this case, I'm not sure you have enough ways to spend money... but we'll see.

It's a yes and a no for me, because of the example above so someone can take credit for your artwork like boh's amazing art work. I could tell others in EE about the artwork and take credit for it (example below). Or one of the mods could believe that you made the art and put it in the Featured Level section on the game.

Random EE player: Omg you made this art?!!

Me: Yes I did it and I am very good at art!!!

Random EE Player: *believes me* Wow you are a good artist!!! Can I add you?

I will update this in a second, but first I would like to make myself clear:

There will be nothing to "buy" in the level. There will be one central command and a few others, but that will be : ",give <username> <amount>".

That's how you buy something.

So somebody could be in the level and say: "Selling my ___________ for _____________ coins!"

And then to buy that item you would say ",give ___________ ____________".
