Heres a little thing to think about,

As you know its called " Aperture " but with the little symbol beside it, it looks like a C so say C aperture and remove the " er " Capture Science :O cool huh?

Actually, that symbol means that the letters AERT would be made into a word. Aert could mean "Tera", reffering to Chell.
We'd then have "Pure Science" left.
I'm assuming Valve meant for us to remove science entirely, because

This would leave the words "Pure" and "Tera", meaning that Chell is speaking pure (fluent) Tera and therefore won't answer Wheathly, she can't speak English, only understand it.

omggggggg
I got it the day it was released and got stuck on the first level with the turrets.
I tried again later and was stuck on that one part where you have to jump from the ledge and go through the logo, shortly after the first Cave Johnson recording. I was stuck for 3 days.
Watashi showed me how to do it and I got it on the first try. -.-
Now I'm stuck on one of the propolsion gel thing.

@Echo! Have you played the original portal? It has the same gameplay as that. If you havn't...
In portal 2, you are Chell, a stubborn chick who wears an orange jumpsuit. You're in the Aperture Science lab, having been put in a cryogenic chamber. In the last game, you were being tested by GlaDOS, a robot who runs the whole entire lab. You [SPOILER] killed her at the end of portal, or so you thought. [/SPOILER]
She's actually alive and some british robot thing who reminds me of Na'vi or whatever from that one zelda game is trying to help you escape. The game mainly is just about doing some interesting puzzles and running. Some say portal 2 is more about the plot then gameplay.
So you have the portal gun, which can only make portals on certain surfaces.
To put it simply, these portals are like doors. There's a blue and an orange portal and they connect so if you go through the blue, you'll come out the orange and vice versa.
Most of the gameplay revolves around this portal gun.
