Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Anyone else think the new one sucks? Here's the difference:

[EDIT] Found a new image, I will use that instead.

I DO use Firefox. And if Different55 saw what you said, he's problably give a warning. 1xd1
The new logo looks really bad in my opinion, but that´s not a reason to don't use the browser anymore?

Which one is the new one? The one on the right looks more simple, which makes me think it's a technological issue, not an artistic issue. For example, the glossy logo might be too much for the tray or whatever. The people at Google are smarter then you think, they know it looks bad. So trust their decisions.
[EDIT] If you go to their Download Page, you'll see all their symbols are simpler.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

The logo does suck, ill give you that. But Chrome will always be my favorite browser!

I personally think the newer one looks better. Simplistic is always the way to go, in my opinion.
Not very chrome-like. More like picasa or something. No shiny.

The old logo was better, because it actually looked chrome-y. Not crappy.

The one on the right.
I saw this like two months ago 'cause I use the Dev Channel version of Chrome . I personally like it; looks more modern and simplistic.
The new one doesn't suit Chrome at all. The old one looks chrome-y, as dorf said.
Eh, I like the ideam but I wish the knew one was a bit more shaded.
a shine and shadow would really make it fit chrome's name.
But then it would crash with all their other stuff so idk
it has that small touch to it that makes it so simple, yet good in a way... i like the old one better, but the new one just says " Im simple try me! "

It automatically changed for me. I looked at the bottom of my screen where it is, and I noticed it's diffferent, then made a topic about it.
yeah, its auto with windows 7, idk about the rest

Hey, it will go to theirs eventually. Besides, either way it sucks...
To be honest, i kinda like it, not more then the other on, but i really like it for some reason...
IDK. I think they're making a move to simplism, if that's even a word. Chrome OS is supposed to be simple. All their products should be simple to use, so it makes sense that they'd want a simplistic design.
I hate tall signatures.

Okay, I found something saying that google thought that since google chrome was supposed to be more simple than other web browsers, they had to make the icon more simple. Thus, the new icon is born.

Just give it time. In about six months, you'll be very comfortable to the new logo, and the old logo will look weird and out of style.

Hm, maybe you're right. I've already gotten used to it but I don't like it.
Off-Topic Next month we get to unlock and gravedig that tme capsule topic
I'm already used to the new logo
But who cares about the logo. It's the performance of the browser that counts.
