So what are you doing for Mother's Day? I have no idea what to do, but I should probably go and get my mom a gift.

Because my mother is dead, I made a mothers day card saying "R.I.P." on the back and my dad will drive me to the cemetary so I can put my card on her grave.

Responding to something like that in the way that you did could be interpreted as insensitive. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but "oh noez" isn't really the right thing to say. I suggest you put a little more thought into what you say next time.

I wish mom was here. She is on other country just to work and make us live. So, for mother's day, I only wish mom was here.

Same, my mom is running a hotel on the Dominican Republic, but half of the year i life there and half here so im fine with it.
