Im going to school next year...

Im going to school next year for the first time... i dont know what it'll be like, im kinda nervous... i was home schooled for this hole time if people are wondering...

so yeah, what do i need to know? any tips? :/ ( ps: its a high school )

Are you just entering high school as a Freshman next year? Me too.
Just keep your cool in the beginning and then act like yourself. (Just don't freak people out...)
Also, try to learn your school quick and where to go. People will get irritated by some noobs that don't know where to go and it's already half of the year.

its true, and im pretty sure it will work out because i live in a small town, and i know everyone in the class ( other then the people who live out of town ) so yeah... but my friends say there in a small popularity contest so thats always fun >_>

don't lose your temper on how slow other ppl may be.   Also try not to be teachers pet.   Act normal.   Don't get claustrophobic by other ppl.   Don't talk to ppl too much unless they talk to you first.   Make some friends quickly otherwise you'll be known as the loner weirdo who just started.

Yeah just be yourself. In my school if you are an idiot you don't have friends so be sure to be smart but don't be too smart. Be sure to start with small talk to make friends. That's how I always do it.

From 16 years of experience, laugh at everyone's jokes. It's the best way to get popular, I promise. Not to add wood to brawler's fire, but being a football player helps too.

I chose to be on the non-popular side, because most popular people are idiots. No offense to any popular people.

I made a step-by-step guide for being a student:

1) Scope out the cool kids or jocks. Most likely, you will find that they have their own designated lunch table.

2) Act vulnerable. Ask them if you can sit with them. They will let you sit with them as a joke, because you will look sad and pathetic.

3) Bring out your charming personality. Dazzle them with some pre-written jokes. Flirt and make drug references. There ya go, sport. You're gettin' the hang of it.

4) Become part of their clique. Hang out with them. Be witty.

5) Never say never. If they peer pressure you into something, accept.

6) Get into drugs and alcohol and parties and sex. Self-explanatory. Be handsome.

7) Drop out of school. You can do this legally when you're 16. Don't worry; you're not going anywhere in life.

8) That's it. You are now successful. Congratulations.

By the way, I'm a nerd. A cool one though. Well, as cool as nerds get, I suppose. By the way, I hope I don't really have to say this, but . . . don't take my guide seriously.

Ok. Stay away from the stuck up girls. They annoy the crap outta me.

Anyways, at my school, there aren't really "popular" and "unpopular" people. Unless of course, you are one of the extreme nerds. I am fairly popular, but I am like best friends with really popular people, and painfully unpopular people.

My advice, just be peoples friends, since you already like know everybody, you should be fine! But good luck

You should tell us what goals you have for going into highscchool. That way we (the EE community) could give you more specific and less general advise.  

Other than that I'd say make smart decisions, act according to your beliefs (unless of coarse you are ordered to do something by a "superior"), and be an optimist.
