Personally, I like Nintendo. RPGMaster2000 has a good list. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is amazing. Little King's Story is surprisingly fun and challenging. Goldeneye 007 is by Activision, so it's kind of like a James Bond themed Call of Duty, but with less gimmicks. The one-player mode is incredible, and is definitely time-consuming if you tackle it on 007 difficulty. I've racked up hundreds of hours on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You can read reviews online. I'm just throwing out some suggestions. If you can find some used Gamecube games, get Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, SSX 3, and Super Mario Sunshine.

I wish I could reply to all of this now. My big question at the moment: Is Epic Yarn really that good? Is it anything like Canvas Curse? (I played Canvas Curse for DS and thought it was gimmicky; I didn't really care for it).

And inb4 haters & fanboys: I already have an xbox360.

Also, @RPGM2K: I am a big Killer 7 fan, so No More Heroes is already on my short-list.

If you like strategy thinking games I would suggest The Fire Emblem series.

Fire Emblem Path of Radiance (Gamecube)
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (Wii)

Alot of the other fun one's have been covered, except maybe Mario Party 8 , which is occasional fun to me.

I have a wii too. Here are my games:

Mario Kart Wii (Almost complete, just got a few more Mirror cups to do)
Samba De Amigo (100% Complete! Boy, Very Hard challenge knocked the wind outta me @.@)
Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing (Doing good, just got some missions and Expert mode to beat)
Sonic Riders ZERO GRAVITY (Not even close to starting, but I beat it on the PS2.)
SSX Blur (I got it because I was once an SSX fan, but I never tried it yet)
Mario Party 8 (100% Complete! Even got everything in the shop )
SEGA Superstars Tennis (Doing kinda good, but better on the PS2)
New Super Mario Bros. Wii (100% Complete! This was for my dad, and it's the first Mario game I played! Eversince, I have been addicted to Mario. I only played it because my dad looked like a noob.)
Super Mario Galaxy (Doing great, yet I can't find a galaxy I can beat >.>)
Super Mario galaxy 2 (I unlocked the S World, still haven't beat it and unlocked the green stars :/)
Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll (All beaten, except for some rewards. I've been trying to find the stupid secret banana, but I already got the secret banana in every world >_<)
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Barely started. I got this game for free! )
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (Didn't start yet. Also got for free )
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz (Just gotta complete World 10 with no continues. I already unlocked baby Robo)

And I play my Gamecube games on it. But congrats on getting a Wii, there are many things I'm sure you will enjoy about it.

Oh, and let's not forget Wii Sports. I did do good at Bowling and Baseball, I got stars all over my ball and bat

I recommend getting Wii Sports Resort and Mario Kart. They are by far my favorite Wii games.

I suggest getting EVERY SINGLE MARIO GAME! I love all of the mario games. They are all really fun and some are challenging!

Damn, I wish I had it. It's E10+ And I'm 9, maybe I might get it then WITH the first one. For now I'm dancing to them on youtube Actually pretty good.

Wii sports resort. It's worth it, the dogfighting and swordfight survival or w/e are awesome. Actually, every swordfighting thing on there is awesome.

I have a good assortment. I have all of the ones listed below.

Kirby's Epic Yarn - A definitely good buy.
Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 - Not the hardest game in the world, but it's really good if you want to complete everything.
Mario Kart Wii - This is my favorite game. Awesome game play and the online is great too.
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - No matter how many times I beat it, it never gets old.
Wii Sports Resort - Epic fun, as introduced with the Wii Motion Plus
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - This is a bestseller. Definitely a blast with parties.
Wii Music - Not that spectacular, but it is pretty fun experimenting with loads of instruments.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Fun for the first time, unfortunately it gets boring after a while.

I've had a Wii since release, initially only got it for Twilight Princess. I'm a huge Zelda fan but didn't like it that much.

Right now I just don't like the Wii anymore. Everything is wireless (which is poop), attributes require batteries because they're wireless, every game HAS to use the motion control which hardly ever works and worst of all: it only has 480i/480p support so you get lag on HD TVs.

I only play Rock Band on it right now, on a CRT because it will lag on my HD TV.

If you're slightly techy I do recommend just buying an external harddisk and cracking the Wii for free games. Some look like fun but you'll regret you bought it.

List of games worth getting:

Mario Galaxy
Mario Galaxy 2
Rock Band 2 & 3(if you're into that stuff)
Goldeneye (if you were in love with the N64 version only)
SSBB

The rest are poop. Epic Yarn is really repetitive by the way. I'd just buy a PS3!
