I Need Help

What is the name of the contract that states that if a country surrenders in a battle the country it's fighting must stop attacking?

all I know about is the info above and that every country except japan signed it

They're called treaties. And I think the one you're referring to is the Treaty of Versailles.

No, Japan signed that one. Maybe it's the German Instrument of Surrender? Japan didn't sign that one.
