Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So, I have a question: where are they getting this rice from? It's not like answering questions creates rice somewhere in the world. Actually, it has nothing to do with rice.

It says under every question "Sponsored banners displayed on correct answers pay for the rice donated"

Although I see one that's adverstising free rice in spanish... Aren't they not gaining money from that?

Approximately, there are 7,200 grains of rice in one cup. That means 166,050 divided by 7,200 is equal to 23.0625. Meaning we already donated 23 cups of rice which is enough for a day of one, two or three families.

I just donated 1000 grains today. Level 10 Spanish

EDIT: We are now #404 on the group Rankings!

Now we're at 28 cups, about 3 or 4 families now? Come on, if the billion people on the internert would donate 1k grains of rice, we'd have 1,000,000,000,000 grains of rice. That's 138889 cups of rice.

I figured out how they earn money to give rice, the ads.

If you really want to support, click on the ads. You don't have to do anything, just click on them. If the ads get a lot of traffic then they'll pay more to be on the website, earning more money for FreeRice.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

1100, pretty interesting site, it would be better if they just donated tonnes of rice regardless of the public's answers (as long as its more than what the public   "donated")

The 28 can only manage at most a day or two depending on the family. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile
It's sad, I know.
