How do you fall asleep?

Reason why I'm asking is because I'm trying to go to sleep without having to take Tylenol PM every night. So, go ahead and post how you fall asleep at night.

I just let my thoughts drift. Just sit there with my eyes closed and think. About anything. Eventually my thoughts become my dreams and then I wake up, eat, sleep, then wake up in the morning.

Nearly 6000 posts.... I need to think of something to do when I go over 9000.

If you eat a banana it helps you sleep. its supposed to relax and do stuff to your muscles. and a warm glass of milk dosint hurt either.

TBH, i have no problem with sleeping, so i cant help much, i just lay in bed, in my nothing box.<-- comedian)

I have a jukebox box in my room.
I turn it on country, (Gawd I hate
Country) and I have a fan in my room. And
it doesn't take very long after that.

Wow, some of you get complicated, and some of you seem really simple.

Bananas + warm milk: I wouldn't do that before I slept.

Empty my mind: Can't. Too much going on in my head to stop thinking.

So I'm in the middle there.

I also have too much on my mind, so I just let my mind go and let that lull me to sleep, along with leaving the television on to a Filipino radio channel on DirecTV just in case I get some scary thoughts in my head (like Giygas).

Usually stay up pretty late and post on random forums till I fall asleep .
Or the weekends I'm pretty sloshed, helps me sleep a lot

Why on earth would someone do such a stupid thing. Pills alone aren't healthy, and you're taking 5 per night? Jesus, you're asking for something to go terribly wrong, aren't you?

They don't say "take two" because they got bored and decided to write a random rule down, it's for your health.

I leave the TV on and watch a movie or something until I get tired and fall asleep. Unless it's a school night, then I just do it without the TV.

I lay on my back in the Half Swastika Position   and do nothing until it gets harder to stay awake then I just close my eyes gently and let my mind do the rest.

I sit there with my eyes closed and think randomly. Even though it often doesn't work at first...but it works after a few hours.
