Portal mod.
Adds a bunch of extra things including heel springs that remove all fall damage. Really nice.

Mo' creatures.
Adds a lot of new mobs, I really like the horses.

Too Many Items
a quick inventory editor for in-game, really fast. I can't live without it.
I hardly ever played MC before I downloaded these mods, now I play constantly.
