Who else thinks this is stupid?

Ok, so I'm 13, I'll be 14 in about 4 months. But my parents still have restrictions on my phone (I can't call or text anybody besides my family between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am) and I have parental controls on the computer (Can't get on from 1:00 am to 6:00 am, certain sites are blocked)

Do you think they do this because I'm the baby of the family and they don't want to let me go?

Your parents know too much about computers...
My mom/dad doesn't even know how to open my new computer if I don't teach him/her.

I mean they ARE your parents and parents will guard you no matter what, that means inappropriate sites as well as bad(Like 18+ Gaming sites with blood, **** and stuff.) ones.

I like the time idea. Most teenagers stay up all night on a computer or something so this teaches you to get your bed rest.
I know, my sister practically is now in a different time-zone because she did and still does stay up nearly all night. She sleeps until 1 or 2 in the afternoon and then finally wakes up. Do you really want to waste a whole morning? I go to sleep at around 10:30p.m and wake up at 7a.m. Now doesn't that sound better?

Stop abusing the minds of teenagers to wake up late.

I don't stay on the computer all night.

And I usually go to bed a 4:00 A.M. and wake up at 2:30 P.M.

And, they're just making sure you don't make the internet your life. Please, do not rely too heavily on the internet. There are so much better things to do beyond the virtual world.

Hell, I don't actually have a phone, so don't feel down. There are other extremely crappy parents out there as well (including mine *troll*).

I'm suppose to get a cellphone before I enter high-school, but I don't want one. I find it a huge waste that people text others every 2 seconds,etc. I'll probably use it once or twice.

You know what I don't get? Why do little kids have cellphones lately? I've even seen several Kindergartners with them all the time. What could they possibly use them for?

when I was 13-14 I was aloud out to midnight,I'm aloud to go to sleep when I want, I'm aloud to go on the computer when I want.

Parents handle things differently.
