Borders is closing. :(

Title says it all. If you don't know what Borders was, it was a giant book store chain.

I remember going into Borders ever since I was little. It always had such a warm atmosphere. They also had classy Seattle's Best cafes implemented where I would get expensive hot chocolate. Then you could sit in chairs. It's a shame they're closing. I'm mostly just rambling incohesively now. I can tell.

I don't know. I'm just angry that these virtual book things like the Amazon Kindle are making books obsolete. It's not the same as holding a book in your hands and flipping the pages. Books weren't meant to be read on a screen.

I miss Borders. I still have some credit left on a Borders gift card. I could spend it online, but I think I'll go to a Borders store one last time.

Discuss, about Borders or virtual books or whatever else.

It was just a classy bookstore chain. Nothing special but I'm sad now that it's gone.

I was sad when a bussines called Wool worths closed, it was freakin awesome

They sold stuff like cds, toys, sweets and other accesories. It had lots of things,

Things will never be the same going into Barnes and Noble... Borders was such a classy store. Refined. They sold books. What more could you want? But that's all gone now....

The last book I'll ever read that came from there is a PSAT study guide

I go to Barnes & Noble more than Borders, but Borders was a great bookstore.

I have an Amazon Kindle, which really is quite different (and somewhat strange) from holding a real book, but they're really good if you travel or go out a lot.

I agree that I wish BORDERS won't close! They are closing near me and practicaly everywhere. D:
I find Borders has the best deals for me. (and the cute accesories.)

fffffffffffff.... SUPADORF I KNOW! It's not fair. Now I have to order all my books online. I loved borders and I went in there pretty much every day until the day the one by my house closed.
