P.S. It's not because of Rammstein, it's because of the Woman on Crack at the start, and the fact that the audience doesn't bother participating in singing songs.

I didn't watch the video but I assume the woman is the announcer in which case I will say that you can't judge a network because of one person.

Also, Jersey Shore isn't crappy (>opinions) and those teen pregnancy shows have reduced teen pregnancy in America so it is working. Have you tried watching any of those shows?

I'm not mad Best out of all the the nominee's imo and still a good song... Lady Gaga, for me, has gone downhill ever since Alejandro, songs and video's haven't just been as good really...
Britney also has been doing this for over a decade now, JS.

I can't watch the VMA's or anything else on MTV.   Why, you ask?

VMAs: Overall, American-made music as a whole has been deteriorating too much.   Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, anything autotuned and anything too poppy, etc., is just freaking annoying to me.

MTV: They REALLY need to change the M in MTV to Media.   They try to keep themselves relevant by airing crappy shows like Jersey Shore and anything with Mom or Pregnant in the name, then they say "Oh, we're still about music" by just identifying the music they use.   I stopped watching MTV a LONG time ago (same with VH1, except for the I Love The [insert decade]'s shows) and recently found a new love for music television: Palladia.   It shows all the music programming from MTV and VH1 (and CMT, but I can deal with that as long as I can watch 8 HOURS OF RHCP WOOOOO).[/rant]
