Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: I <3 Troll phyics :D

That boat thing would actually work if you jumped up and down.

It would also take some pretty strong magnets, and I wouldn't recommend using a fishing pole.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I'd sure love to hear you explain that one.

When you're not attached to the boat, it is free to move closer to your magnet. When you ARE standing on the boat, it cannot.

A small boat. Not a big one. A very small one.

Yeah... that makes sense... stop making me feel like I'm wrong. D:

I know it probably doesn't make sense, but it's too late for me to think. Somebody explain to me how I'm wrong in the morning.

I see what you saying xD But if the boat is moving, and you're jumping, you might miss to boat and fall off.Or the boat would just tip over.

I imagine we're taking the sea as a flat and frictionless surface.   If so, then perhaps this is why your magnet jumping can never work.   The closed system of objects in this case is you, the boat, the magnets and the fishing rod.   If you did get the boat to move forwards, the objects inside it would have to move backwards to conserve momentum.

Yes, you would be moving backwards to preserve momentum, which would mean you would eventually fall off the boat.

It's extremely unrealistic, I know, but the point remains that this 'troll physic' isn't as impossible as it looks.

The only thing I got out of that was using the Pop-Up Blocker.

That would work if tweezers could remove protons from atoms.
