Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Dear dad,
You will always be remembered by me and my family, I didn't know you to long, I was 13 when this event happened. I wish I could of had a longer life with you. Your the most heroic person I know. God Bless.
If any loved ones, friends, have been injured or killed in this event, feel free to post.
No negative posts please.
I was only a baby when this happened, my aunt was nearly killed during 9/11. If she hadn't taken the day off,she would've died.
God bless all the people who lost loved ones during this tragic event.

I feel cruel, I was happy waiting for the 10th year of 9/11.

I think 2,983 or something people died
None of my family has died in the tragedy but I will still always feel sorry for the ones who were lost.

I just listened to Kevin Cosgroves last call from inside the south tower when it collapsed. I was so close to cry. Very emotional...
Lets all try to remember the 3,000 people that died on 9/11 ten years ago. The people that gave their lives trying to stop the attacks. They will be missed.

Fun fact: The brain cannot multiply.
3k people died on 9/11/01 in the terrorist attack.
Here's a picture of someone who ended up jumping to their death.
He's falling.
His name is Jonathan Briley. He was 43 years old and worked on a top floor restaurant. The photo was taken at 9:41:15 am. He had a wife. That orange shirt-- he wore it all the time. He had asthma and would surely die from the smoke and flame. So he jumped several thousand feet to his death. Splat. Dead, leaving a wife and family behind, just like that. He had no choice.
Two hundred people just like Jonathan Briley jumped.
Their lives were stolen away from them, just like a thousand others.
You can't imagine it. You can't feel how Jonathan Briley lived, you don't know him, you don't truely feel it.
You don't know hardly any of them, and you sure as hell can't even imagine the lives of 3,000 people being torn apart, you can't imagine their families, their friends. One person's death affects many. Two, three, four, five, six, seven. One hundred. Three thousand.
The impact is huge, but none of us can feel the entire impact of it all at once. We can try, but we cannot imagine the suffering and pain of three thousand people's last breaths, last thoughts, last emotions, we can't imagine their deaths.
It's just statistics. Just numbers. We don't truely care about every single one of them. Don't try to pretend you do.
I feel nothing.

Woops.
Okay, so you're saying you feel the pain and suffering of three thousand people, that you're emotionally connected to their friends and family, despite not knowing hardly anything about any of them? Not their names, faces, favorite shirts, their kids or lack thereof?

Lol i didn't say that i LOVED them, I am really sad that they died..

Caring isn't the same as loving. Caring is being emotionally connected to them. You can be really sad all you want, but it's not the same as caring. Or maybe it is. I don't know.

Yes, they died a horrible death, I'll give you that. But having your brain cavity crushed by several thousand tons including corpses of others seriously doesn't make me feel anything. I have no empathy. Cannot relate.

Of course you can care of someone that is unknown to you. When I heard Kevin Cosgroves last call before the south tower collapsed, and I heard him yell "Oh God!", and then the tower collapsed, I felt how close I was to cry. The same with the Norway-shootings. When I saw a clip from Utöya, and Anders Behring Breivik raised his gun and shot a youngster, I felt sadness and anger. Sadness because of those whom died, and anger because of Anders Behring Breiviks actions.
For me, it's enough to watch this picture: http://isabelleix.blogg.se/images/2011/ … 435765.jpg [WARNING, GRAPHIC PICTURE]
When I see the picture, of those dead youngsters, and the young boy in the water, begging for mercy beside his friend that has gotten his head blown off, I feel sadness for those whom died.

sileo in pacis totus qui es mortuus....
Rest in peace all those who are dead....
my dad worked across the street from it and he left 10 minutes b4 the planes crashed. he got the last subway out and is kinda lucky to be alive to this day.
What's 9/11? Has it got something to do with the American emergency number?
It was September 11th, 2001 when 19 hijackers in Osama Bin Laden's team crashed plains into the twin towers and when they fell the smoke chased them, fast.
I don't care who or how many dies.
I care about how they dies.

:'( Sad, sad days.
Osama Bin Laden shall pay.
Just one smile about
I had no family members die in that. but i feel bad for your dad
The newspapers were really bad too, accually. They put in a bunch of people falling from the towers in some pictures, and they were tragic. *moment of silence...*
EDIT: u r 23?
