Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

This is a topic to discuss about what Chris does, where he gone, etc.
Here is the first thing to discuss about: Why has he gone to EA and Valve?

Business trips, not much more than that really.
EA?
why would a person who created (and making better) a game based on creating worlds with smileys go to EA?
also, i dont really underpstand it either...

But what business can he do with EA and Valve?!? Maybe Flash-based things?
EDIT:

You're forgetting that EE barely scratches the surface of what Chris is capable of doing. He owns his own company and helped co-found Player.IO.

Ohh, I totally understand you now, thanks for answering! 1smile1
So EE will not go to somewhere like EA or Zynga? If so, great, I love EE being privately owned (kind of), and if it does go to those, especially Zynga, it will not just be killed, but brutally murdered and stabbed to death several times.
EA company usaly make sport games so wth chris.
Not true, EA is very famous for making other games, including The Sims.
He wouldnt be visiting ea and valve about making ee, i think its about bussiness and production.

That was Maxis, which was bought out by Electronic Arts... There's a slight difference...
I wasn't even aware that Chris went to Valve and Electronic Arts, that's just... hilarious, trying to communicate with the big companies when he's so... not... well known.
On a side note, when I first saw EA being mentioned in this thread, I thought of Emilie Autumn... Haha. I was feinting confusion for a moment.
It has potential, but if EA/valve/etc decide to buy out Player I.O or whatever, EE'll turn into a p2p* game.
*p2p = pay to play.

Lol, you guys are forgetting that Chris's business trips and other things he's busy with Have Nothing To Do With EE. EE is just a game that he makes in his free time. A hobby. Like collecting stamps or playing a guitar.
Sorry for gravedigging, but I'm very curious what is he doing now... Because I think that the 'EA' and 'Valve' business trips are ended already. Aren't they?
Yeah that^

Actually, the decided that EE was too addicting and would cause a zombie apocalypse of people that only wanted to play it and do nothing else, so they took out its source.
