Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So yesterday I got minecraft, But I downloaded the program and when I open it I get this message,
"Launch4j
The registry refers to a non existent Java Runtime Enviroment installation or the
runtime is corrupted.
The system cannot find the path specified."
I tried everything like uninstalling java then installing it again.
ALSO When I try to use the browser version, Chrome doesn't detect Java, And Any other browser just gets a blank screen.
I looked all over Google, Yahoo, Bing, And Youtube. No help.
And I need help ASAP, My mom is pretty mad at me, cause she thinks she just lost about 20 bucks.
You didn't lose 20 dollars, your account can download the game as many times as you want. You just need to find a way to make it work.
Sorry, but I can't help you. Try deleting your .Bin folder, and then starting the game. Uninstall java, uninstall minecraft, install java, install minecraft.
Play the online version.
Online = The browser version?
For some reason Chrome doesn't seem to know I have Java and with other browsers there is just a blank screen.
Try not using chrome.
I use firefox and it works for me.
First, did you contact Minecraft support?
http://www.minecraft.net/support
Next, did you try working through the suggestions in this thread?
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/366 … vironment/
What specifically happens when you try each one?
Also, don't spaz about the $20; if MC Support can't help you get it working, you can request/demand a refund.
@stevethepirahnaplant OP said that other browsers just give him a blank screen.
