Windows, Mac, or Linux?

What's your favorite operating system?

I'm going with Windows. Why? Because it's better.

Macs are uber! but expensive >.>
And i never get linux xd
so.. for quality i say mac but for normal use windows.
p.s windows 2 because some games dont support mac.

Seriously, I vote on all of them, because all of them knows a thing that the others doesn't.
Mac stands for design.
Windows stands for compatibility.
Linux stands for speed.

I grave-dig this thread to remove the "Mac or PC" debate from Steve Job's death thread.

Macs are designed with bright colors and bouncing icons, which amuse children. I don't want to be amused, I don't even want it to look pretty, I just like to get 'work' done; which is why I prefer PC's.

Never used Linux, although from what Jojatekok says, it sounds good.

I switch very frequently between Windows 7, Windows XP, a highly modified and compressed version of XP that is only able to be used for making pixel art and rescuing my laptop, several versions of linux that automatically start up if I have my flash drives in. Version of linux depends on which flash drive. Gets annoying if I accidentally leave one in, restart, then go to eat food, come back, linux.

I can program using Linux, and it's absolutely godly to use for a local server, but Windows will always be my go-to OS. I was raised on Windows, I've grown to love computers using Windows, and I'll die using Windows. Macs are an abomination for the computer-savvy.

So my vote goes to Windows.

Max(intended) are terrible, in my opinion.

I've used windows and a mac before, and windows is much much much better.

I've never used linux though.

How are Macs so bad? Is it because you haven't given them a chance? Personally, I like Macs - but then at school that's the computers they use, along with some Dells. The Dells I've used were great, virus free and smooth. Dell PC's on the other hand are crap to me, seriously every single one my family has had was FULL of viruses and security updating crap.

IMHO, Macs don't deal with viruses or security updates, and I'm just a fan of Apple and was a fan of Steve Jobs.

I've only used Windows so...I chose windows, why's it called windows when houses have windows where you can look through and windows computers are solid and un-look-a-throughable.

As a 5 year Geek Squad Double Agent, they are all the same to me.

Windows and Mac anyway, I found the same problems for both, and each new versoin of Windows and Mac look more like their competitor's previous OS.

But personally I like Windows most as I play alot of weird games that are PC based only, and I don't feel like installing Windows on a Macbook

I'd like to try Linux, because GIMP was made for Linux.
I've used Windows all my life, and never used a Mac before. And anyway, you can get everything a Mac has on Windows and Linux. Also, there are more OS's than Mac, Windows and Linux. Ubuntu, Unix, etc.
