Ron Paul sucks. I mean, he's the only Republican that can't come up with a catchy slogan. Herman Cain, even, had "Hop Aboard the Herman Cain Train in 2012". What's Paul got? "Jump On In To the Ron Paul Shower Stall!"?

The Ratburntro44 party. I can't find any party which agrees with what I think, so I made up my own.

I honestly think the whole political system should be different. I don't think candidates should run on a set of beliefs, then implement them if elected. I think that they should not run on any beliefs, and instead take polls, run town hall meetings, and listen to voters then support what their voters support. For example, say

80% of the population supports A, B, and C, but disagrees with D

Politician 1 Supports A, B, C, and D
Politician 2 Is against A, B, C and D

Clearly, Politician 1 will be elected, but his voice on D will not represent his voters. Politicians should not have people elect the best imperfect set of opinions, but have them elect a person that voices what the voters want, regardless of their opinion.

Some 12 year olds do care about politics. Unfortunately, I don't intend to become a politician.

Ron Paul is the best alternative for the US. He wants to regulate the banks, stop all wars and put more effort to prevent illegal immigrants.

I don't have that much knowledge of US politics, but he sounds like the best man - in my opinion of course.

I have to disagree, he's the best man for the job right now. And he will be come election time. His only real threats are Rick Parry (yes, I said Parry and not Perry, if you don't get it then you don't watch the Colbert Report) and Mitt Romney, and the polls show Obama almost always leading.

I guess you would call someone of my ideological persuasion a "conservative." I'm not hardcore and I don't adhere to squat, though. Don't hold me to it. I used to be a strong liberal, then I grew up. I believe that, along with throwing out all current corrupt politicians, we also need to exterminate the lobbyists and activists who bribe Congress, because they are the root of all this corruption. Let them do their jobs without bribes and promises and the like.

Why is that? You are still killing it. Just because it doesn't "look" like a baby yet, or hasn't been born yet, doesn't mean that you aren't ending a life.

I would divorce my wife if she ever even mentioned having an abortion.

Agreed. I hate when people use the "14-year-old gets raped and pregnant" argument for why abortion should be legal. Are 14-year-olds raped often in America? Because if that's true, then abortion is the least of our problems. The more likely scenario is that a woman, probably drunk, acts incredibly stupidly with the amount of potential she carries in her womb, parties like a maniac, changing her lovers more often than she changes her underwear. And if a baby happens to arise out of that situation, just kill it, because she doesn't have time for it. THAT's probably the more likely scenario. The baby didn't ask to be born. You act irresponsibly with the reproductive power you hold, you need to deal with the consequences properly.

At the first college I went to, within the first month, two girls I knew got drunk at a party, had unprotected sex, and both got pregnant. They "took care" of the pregnancy after two weeks. How, specifically? I didn't ask. But they had to kill someone because of their idiocy, because they wanted to have a little fun one night. It just isn't right.

So would it be okay to murder someone who's completely paralyzed, in a coma, fed through a tube, never to regain consciousness again? How about someone with such a severe level of mental retardation that they can't function at all without the care of another human being? It's okay. Just kill 'em. They don't care. And yeah, let's just compare a human being's life to the life of a mushroom. Makes perfect sense. That's a totally accurate comparison right there.

They never really were conscious, because they never were self aware. An unborn baby does have about the same amount of self awareness as a mushroom does. Someone with severe mental retardation is still self aware. I wouldn't consider it okay to kill them.

Are you going to start making women have every pregnancy possible because otherwise the egg that could become human will die? I hope not.
