i saw a report on ntv - he is dead, i saw a video and now i am shocked...
The video showed how he was killed in Sirte...
nightmares...

He was a dictator, the people were sick of him abound he was eventually going to be killed. They were not going to show mercy to man that didnt have mercy for them. He was all about power. And of course the UN and other countries would join in, they will get some oil in return. But his death will bring good in libya, but the freedom of libya should be celebrated not the death.

You know what's sad? I'm in all advanced classes, taking several History classes, planning to major in it one day, and yet... I didn't know who Kadaffi was. I thought it was spelled a lot differently, too. Gadalfi?

Muammar Gaddafi is dead.   This has both great and horrible implications.
It's great, because they can gain democracy (or at least, the same kind of sham we have now).
It sucks, because they'll get the s**t taxed out of them and such.   They'll get raped for their oil.

Err, they wont get taxed that much, gaddafi owned most of the countrys wealth and its population isnt very big.They will be fine with money.
