Man+Woman vs. Man+Man

Another speal about my very bias opinions on stuff.

Guys date/marry women because they are (for the most part) sexually attracted to them. They love and care about them because they have eachother. Then one day, when they're ready, they have a child/children (*this part gets sticky XP). But... do they really understand eachother? Why do you think men and women argue so much? Why do you think a lot of marriages fail? It's because a man is not a woman and a woman is not a man. They have two completely different mindsets. The only thing that drives them together is 'love' for eachother and/or the sexual attraction to one another.

Now think about a gay couple. Guys date other guys because... blah blah blah... mimmicks first paragraph... *surrogate mother... NOW. The really important part in this relationship: Because they are both guys, they have male-rendered brains/thought-processes. They understand eachother completely and will (hopefully) rarely argue. A same-sex relationship seems sensible to be the more successful couple because they understand eachother more, thus creating an even stronger bond between eachother. Honestly, men of these forums, would you rather have a woman who doesn't understand football, or a guy who loves rock (and roll)? It's only natural for guys to hang out with guys more often than they do with girls anyway. I'm not saying you shoulg turn gay (although it's scientifically impossible), but do take my ideas into consideration the next time you rent an appartment (Err, or what-not).

Now this (to me) may sound logical, but in reality this just won't ever happen. Guys will always fall for girls, and girls will always tease guys. Unfortunately the world will not see my reasoning and go on doing wrong. But maybe some day there will be a test group.... some day...

(Yes I actually am crazy enough to pay people $$$ for them to do this)

Well if your saying that man only loves women for the sexual attraction and not because of their personality then yes. Their marriage will not succeed . The same goes for gay couples. I actually work with some gay guys. They also have the same problem in dating than a man and a woman. If you marry for LOVE and you enjoy the women/man's company then your marriage will be successful. also don't forget that man can be best friends with women.
my wife was a very good friend of mine before we started to date.
I have been with my wife for 11 years and married for 2 of them. IM 26 so do the math. If you look for the question to your answer you will always find it. I do not think ill be leaving my wife ever. I plan to be with her for all eternity.

What your saying is stereotypical. Many women can understand about football or rock and roll just a much (or even more) then men do. You are being bias. Your not even mentioning the relationship between two women. Have you got any scientific proof that male have the same thought process. I know it is your opinion and most people today (even in the court) are sexist. Its just the way we live in, and no-one is willing taking the blame.

Are you saying that arguing is bad, no matter what? ...No. You should be more worried if they didn't argue. The fact that people argue [even over the stupidest things] and are still with each other says a lot. ... This doesn't apply if one of them is irrational and the other is trying to kick the irrational one out. -cough-

I think that your 'mindset' thing is completely and utterly stupid.
Yes, a lot of guys like the same things, and women like the same things as other women too.
So what? That's personal interest.
Are you saying that you think there should be more gays in the world because their relationship would work better than a heterosexual one?

Pure sexual attraction is lust and yes, it's not a good relationship, but I can definitely tell you that not all straight relationships are like that. You know, ones where they've been together for most of their lives, like 40, 50, 60 years? Where they don't even try to get back with anyone else once one has died?
That's because they love the other, not because they're lusting over them. Lust dies quick. Love lasts a lot longer. True requited love is what drives those relationships that last so long. You'd be stupid if you don't think that they badger the other and argue a lot. Arguing isn't a good way to judge a relationship, ever.

I propose we unlock Tako's topic and continue this discussion there. Does anyone agree? It's pretty much the same thing. I mean, it's an argument for the other one, and since it was locked for not having arguments, this would be grounds for re-opening.

On the topic: Blah blah, I'm religious, you're wrong. I have to say that. However, I also disagree with your argument on a totally non-religious level. As you may have heard before (and as the old saying/scientific fact goes), opposites attract. Being the same or even similar to someone gets boring pretty fast, let me tell you. I think there's some level of confusion that has to be there for things to be interesting -- Otherwise, your life is boring and nothing will really seem new. If you're always aware of what they're thinking (or know how they think), you really don't have anything to surprise you. You're just following the same old routine.

I don't believe that man + woman marriages fails because of the lack of understanding for each other. Look at all the old couples, they have lived with each other for over many decades, until death really separates them. The reason why marriages starts to fail so much nowadays is because of our degenerated moral values and our decadent society. Those whom was borned, lived and loved in the "old days" are still faithfull, the people of today are not.

Although, this is kind off funny. Me and my mates discussed this yesterday. Our conversation went something like this:

Me: Lol, we had so fun yesterday!
Friend1: Yeah, but we didn't hook up any girls, lololol.
Friend2: That might be the reason to why we had so fun? LOLOL
Friend1: Yes... so does that mean... guy + guy equals fun?
Me: Yeah, but that would also mean that fun equals...
Me + friend 1&1: H O M O S E X U A L I T Y!!!!!!

Then we was like: lolololol *giggle* that explains why all gayguys are so happy all the time lolololol *giggle*
