Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

knives.

I went to school today. And i was suspended for having a pocketknife. For 3 days. I was using it this weekend and forgot it was there. They said they knew it was an accident, and so they only gave me 3 days OSS instead of doing all the paper work (laziness on their part, I would've gotten 3 days OSS whether or I knifed somone, I think).
Should knives be considered a weapon or a tool if there was no bad intentions?

With today's society and how much people are stupid and lie I think that they shouldn't be allowed. I mean I see everyday just how dang stupid everyone is.

Re: knives.

Be happy for your three days suspension. In Sweden, you would have been suspected for crime against the knife law and probably taken to court. You would probably have been sentenced to 6 months in prison or getting a fine (more likely because of your age and the fact that it was a pocket knife).

The law must be blind before intentions, and only care about the actual crime, except for accidents as manslaughter (if it can be proved that it actually was an accident). If the law would treat intentions, it would be perfectly fine to walk around with weapons that could also be considered as tools, because your intentions was to use it as a tool, not as a weapon.

That's just my opinion...

They have to do this because if they didnt, they would appear weak and it would happen more.

people lie all the time these days, teachers can trust no pupil, no matter how good or smart they are, even me. someone could have a pocket knife on them like you and go to school withit and do exactly the same as you but not use it as a tool but a weapon and get the same time suspention.

teachers are always like this: 1t0m.jpg

That means we can't cut any loaf of bread around here unless we use our bare hands. D:

You're lucky to have been suspended for only 3 days. In my school, if you're caught with any kind of weapon, with bad intentions or not, you would be expelled.

Like 2 weeks ago I went into a store while I had a little stiletto knife in my pocket which I forgot I had. Then the freakin' alarm went off because I had like one of those code things in my new sweater. I was like 'zomg they're gonna check mah pockets, panicpanicpanic..'.
Luckily they didn't :<

Anyway, sucks you got suspended :/
How did they find out actually?

How do they see you with a pocketknife? My friend showed me his little bag of marijuana yesterday in class. Him and his friend, they even made a drug deal together in class too.

Re: knives.

I love how they freak over if you have a knife in school when some states allow teachers to have guns on them.

Wow...I am surprised...now it seems like a live in a super nice place, which I don't. I mean, metal detectors? Three days of suspension for a pocket knife? people just get it taken away for the rest of the class at my school...

Re: knives.

They know. I just have to do any work that my teachers send me. Other than that, I'm enjoying OSS more than I'm enjoying school.

Caps please?

Also, I guess it would be considered both, since I got 2 warnings for saying I would kill the teacher with it, and that I use it to cut the bread.

But I'll cast my vote on tool. It's better to eat then kill, right??

Lucky.

It doesn't matter around here because I live by a bunch of rednecks.
Suspended for a whole week. And I would have failed every assignment that week.

That is always why I never try to get suspended.

You win. No regrets.
I still cast my vote on tool, though, no excuses, either.
