The Simpsons stopped being funny after about season 6, so I'm glad it's being stopped. Even though I'm a HUGE fan of South Park, if they keep it up like this I wouldn't mind seeing that go too :/

The Simpsons was never funny. Ever. I have not laughed once at a single Simpsons moment. At least Family Guy honestly used to make me laugh. This axing is long overdue.

The Simpsons are always funny. Always. I haven't not laughed all the time at a single Simpsons moment. At least Family Guy honestly sucked so much that I could upchuck for a week. This axing is terrible.

The only thing bad about this is that The Simpsons is the longest running animated show in America, so once it gets canceled it can lose its spot.

They're not cancelling it unless the actors don't accept the pay cut.   Here's the deal:
The voice-over artists make upwards of $8,000,000 a year.   Fox doesn't have that kind of money.   So they proposed a 45% pay cut, which means they would still make over 4 million a year.   But the actors said no, and countered with a plan for a 30% pay cut, but they want money from syndication and merch too.   I honestly don't see why they didn't get rights to syndication and merchandise in their original contract, but too late now.   I think that eventually, the actors will give in, because Fox would have no problem getting rid of them and replacing them with another show.   They've probably wanted to for a while, anyway.

I never liked southpark, infact I've always hated it. Simpsons was okay but it gets boring, same with futurama... I say GOOO!!! Family Guy
