Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Nope. It's only ?20 for it though. Although they were nearly sold out at my local Mediamarkt.

_____________

I've had it for a few days now (it was leaked online) and honestly it's greatly disappointing. The game has the slowest pace I've ever seen in any Zelda game and I've just arrived at the 3rd dungeon. There is no overworld to explore, you can just fly around but that's not the same.

For the Wii, the graphics are quite good.

The motion+ works decently, but you have to re-calibrate every 30 mins or so. The fighting is pretty neat, but the enemies are pretty much all the same so far. The only thing I actually really liked so far was the boss of the first dungeon.

As most Zelda games have AWESOME music, I was also greatly disappointed in this. Everywhere the music seems to get on my nerves.

Now, for the worst part. THE DIALOGUES. OH. MY. *(#$@#$. GOD. You can't skip anything, the text goes so slowly and just trying to buy something requires 4 or 5 screens of dialogue you have to sit through each time. Basically every dialogue is as annoying as accidentally talking to the infamous Owl on Hyrule field the first time in OoT. This is seriously killing the game. You thought Navi was annoying? Now you have Fi, which is 100000000000x more annoying. Enjoy.

Not only that, you can't switch HUDs till youve played for like 3 hours and the game just treats you like a child, they explain EVERYTHING. You get hints for where hearts are and for just everything. Even when they ask you if you understand something, and you say "yes", they'll say something like "Oh of course, because everybody knows all you have to do is Press X and do Y, how silly!". It's just insulting.

Don't get your hopes up for "the best game ever" as I did, just see it as "just a decent game" and you'll be ok. The 10/10s people are giving it stems from either sponsorship or fanboyism. So far, OoT and MM kick Skyward Sword's butt big time.

My brother is going to get it, and bring it home on Thanksgiving vacation, though I doubt it's gonna be as great as all the ads say. I think that's just biased advertising to sell more copies.

Guess I'll see once I play, though i still haven't beat Twilight Princess yet so I better get going X)

Re: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I got it the day before yesterday, but I haven't really had the time to play that much. I haven't left Skyloft yet, and yes, I am a very slow player. I tend to dwell to long at one spot.

Anyways, I got the super expensive Limited Edition version, which includes the game, a golden Wii Remote plus and the 25th anniversary orchestra CD thingy.
I can't disagree with you Nou, but not because I agree with your opinions on the game, but because I haven't played that far yet.
Even though I think that it's so far so good. ^^ To be honest, the only Zelda games that I've played are Phantom Hourglass and Spirit tracks, and if you like those you'll probably like Skyward Sword to.
I also started playing OoT 3D, but, and I'll probably get hanged for this, but I didn't like it that much.

Oh and Nou, don't you even like the "Ballad of the Goddess", the song that Zelda plays at the beginning? D:
