What's the worst (medical) thing thats happened to you?

Had an operation on my ears for some reason.
I couldn't speak, Or even hear people. My Family had to scream at me too talk to me.
I could barely hear them.

Or the time I face planted into the gym wall and a tooth shattered. Nerve got infected and my left side of my beautiful face was swollen.

What's your story?

BTW I made this because I was bored/tired.

Riding bike, went off huge bump, landed face first, face skidded on ground for a bit, bike lands upside-down on me comically.

I sliced my carpus, it was only millimeters from cutting of my artery. No, not an emo-cut, it was an accident with a glass door when I was around 11 years I believe.

I had hypothermia when there was a gas leak in my school, and we all evacuated outside, many of us had no coats. It was cold and rainy.

I was riding my scooter and was doing a lap 'round the street.

Some lunatic retard left their front gate open.

I crashed into it without enough time to stop, and I bled out of my ankle and had a graze on my elbows.

I got really sick, don't really know what it was, but when I shut my eyes it was white instead of black, and there was weird colorful shapes coming closer and closer and closer, just to disappear, come closer again, and so on. And I had headache too. And another time I threw up 10 times on one single day! Couldn't eat anything, it just went up again...

I think i had swine flu, or it was a really bad cold, also when i was 8 i fell of a scooter and grazed half of my leg

I got driven over by a truck not that long ago, as some of you might know

My left leg was crushed it's now amputated. I've lost some of my memory, this can't be fixed. I've got an internal bleeding in my stomach. My arm is broken on 2 spots.

For those who don't know, I'm still in the hospital.

got my foot stuck in a snowmobile track didn't break any thing just sprained it.

fell off a 10 ft cliff on my back. still didn't brake anything now i throw my back out every now and then.

cut my neck open with some scrap metal i glued that to gather. it wasn't that deep.

got in to a car accident and the car hit my side just before i buckled up if i would of buckled my seat belt i would of died.

stabbed in the leg with scissors. that was my fault i was wrapping presence.

got my finger slammed in a car door.

i got hit with 30,000 volts twice in the arm. fixing a crt tv. that just shot me back and my arm was numb for about a day.

stabbed by a pencil in the arm. the pencil was in my shirt pocket and some one tried to close line my and failed.

got hit by a car as i was riding   my bike twice. same spot about 2 or 3 years apart. the store cut the bush down after the second time i was hit.

got 3rd degree burns on my arms and neck. that was a job hazard. worked with rubber injection molds that were about 1500 degrees.

i bit into a live phone line when i was in six grade i think that was about 17 volts. i dont strip wires with my teeth any more it really hurt.

fell off a house and a couple of trees.   the trees was i missed the trampoline. the house i was shoveling the snow off the roof. slipped and fell.

cut my finger open while doing the dishes. put my hand inside a cheap glass and shattering it as i pushed down to get the bottom.

I was in school [1st grade,7 years old]
And i was playing with my friends [Chasing around]
We were running around the classroom while the teacher wasn't there...
But then,i slipped on a pool of water [Dunno who did it]
And i hit the edge of a table...With my head...
The hit was barely 2Cm from my eye,i could of lost an eye easily.
When i touched my head,my hands were all bloody.
I started crying [Wouldn't you]
Then my teacher came...Bla bla bla...
Went to the doctors...
Got some patches...
And i was as good as new!
Except i have a huge scar next to my right eye.

wow, it sounds like you should be dead with all those accidents, but this topic is the worst accidents, not all accidents, but you have lived through life unlike me.
mine must be... hmmm... eather this time when i was 2 and i was with my sister in her room, she had a bunk bed with my other sister and she looked away and i was rolling/crawling to the end of the bed an fell off, my sister saw me as i was falling and tried grabbing me, but she wasn't fast enough...

or maybe its this other time when i was crossing the road (this was last year, i was 14) and just before i got to the end i fell over and scratched myself on the road and i was bleeding heavily, my friends were trying to tell me a car was coming fast but i was to worried about the bleeding scratch, so i was just lying there on the end of the road and this car came and ran over one of my ankles, lucky my other foot was ok though.
and this is not my story, it was my worst enimies but when we were 12 there was an end of year trip at school to a theme park, me and him, and a couple of friends were in an arcade, there was one of those electric chairs that give you an electric shock, but you had to be 18 and go through a few zaps to get your body ready for the shock (there was a guy standing next to the machine for giving the small shocks and seeing there age), i cant remember how many volts but it was ALOT. we were watching other people get shocks and i know how to set it up because i helped the guy strap people in. Then a guy said something to him and went into an employee only room. my enemy sat in the chair and told me to stap him in, so i did, then he told me to put it on full power and turn it on so i did. bad choice. he went to hospital for it to be fixed... i didnt get any blame, only the guy who strapped people in. i feel sorry for him, but were still arch-enimies

I was on a holiday, it's just like Halloween except it's not halloween and in February.
So I was a young kid with my friends playing when we were celebrating this holiday in the school sport hall when I climbed up the walls and fell on my right hand. At first I was 100% sure that my hand was not broken, but after many hours on the hospital I figured out I was.

The worst part was... I didn't get the candy

true sorry. those were the worst that i had. iv had many more than that. i was vary dumb as a kid and got hurt a lot . i had a hard time piking one so i put all in.

your enemy doesn't sound to smart if you guys didn't like each other and he had you do that. were you friends before that.

To add. At the hospital these damn doctors gave me drugs so I went to sleep. While I was asleep (30 mins) the doctor pulled my hand together cause it had fallen apart without me knowing it. When I woke up I felt like I had drunk. I saw everything doubled and had to go in a wheelchair to the toilet.

I had (and still having) a medical disease, I took steroids and I also was hospitalized two times, one for a week and once for 10 days. Because of the steroids my VERY thin face became really fat and people laughed at me. Now my face is OK. I am now taking an "experimental" pill that seems to stabilize my medical system same as the steroids, but doesn't cause the same affect. I can't get sick because if it happens my disease will burst again, so I'm keeping a distance from sick people. I was off school for 2 months, because of this reason. When the medical disease bursts, I don't feel good, I throw up and my belly really hurts. The disease is called "Nephrotic Syndrome" by the way. I also dropped out of the basketball league because I couldn't exercise anymore. Yeah that's pretty much it.

And I broke my hand after I crashed my bike when I was pretty young..

O gosh:
I was pitching on a summer afternoon for baseball.
The 4th hitter was up and hit a line drive back at me.
It slammed me on the wrist and bent it completely backwards.
Hospital for 3 days blah blah blah.

Stupid:
I was mowing the lawn one day for my dad, then tripped on my other foot, then I got shoe stuck in the moter, but luckily I slipped my shoe off, leaving only one big cut, instead of my foot getting chopped off.

Unexpected:
I was playing man hunt with my friends when there was a tree falling outside because it was very windy.
I went to take a look, and it was down, then I turned around and of course, a smaller one fell right on me.
Not much damage, just a huge bump on my head and i was unconscious for 15 mins.

Btw This all happened at age 13-14: October 2010 to now
