I agree with TheGreenTroll, Tolkien is the best author that has ever existed. Just look at the whole universe he created for his books, every single language. Every single race and the historys and everything.

My favourite author is Stephen King. Most probanly because i like horror, fantasy and science fiction.

I love Rick Riordan's books,he is the writer of Percy Jackson and The Olympians series and some other books.He wrote about Greek,Egyptian or Rome mythology

Howard Phillips Lovecraft...he had much influence on Stephen King. Some of Kings stories refer to Lovecrafts stories.

Yeah, as he says in Danse Macabre ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danse_Macabre_%28book%29 ) when he was young he read lovecraft's novels in his father ( or grandfather ) attic, and it's a big part of his inspiration.

I just read the first part of Danse Macabre btw, it's one of the books I have to finish "one day".
