Minecraft question.

So I've had minecraft for a while and I still don't know how to place blocks, whenever I try to place one it just deletes, so may someone tell me how to place blocks? Please don't -rep me, thanks.

Click on your right mouse button to place blocks, left mouse button to delete. Are you on a multiplayer server? Maybe you don't have permission to destroy blocks. Other than that, lag.

There is something called a Spawn Protection,and it makes you not abble to place blocks. It just comes back when you place it. Well if it is that i suggest you go a bit farther then you are now.

Thank you! And I don't use servers often, I mostly play offline on creative mode so I can do whatever I want. :3

Double post, I know, but I REALLY need to know this: How do you get out of flying mode? I'm stuck on it and I can't get off it, I tried rejoining, didn't work. Please help me out.

Double tap space or hold down shift until you reach the ground.

Double-tap the spacebar to toggle Fly mode.

That's ok, when I first joined I drowned because I didn't know how to swim, and I couldn't delete blocks because I was repetitively clicking instead of holding down.

We were all noobs at one point.

I watched Youtube videos of Minecraft by people like BlueXephos and TheTarionBesbald. I watched their videos so much that the rules of Minecraft stuck into my brain.

I found flying by mistake when jumping up some stairs.
