Here is my take on this-- Santa is a guy that was called santa by people who can't pronounce Saint Nikolas, and he is long dead. Your parents put the presents under the tree, because they feel obliated to carry on the gift giving habits of Saint Nikolas

Actually this is false. My parents have told me that, not they, but Santa himself, placed the presents under the tree.
And I trust my parents much more than you.

Santa is the best burglar in the world except he steals the cookies and milk you leave him and forgets a lot of presents that supposedly has To: Your Name | From: Santa. To catch him you need to have just as advance technology as Santa, you see every year Santa get's into your house in numerous ways and it's not the same every year. It just happens the chimney is common because a lucky kid spotted him that way but he gets in other ways such as walking through walls, teleportation, shape shifting, and etc. So he may have already came as an ant or as sound waves or he can travel at the speed of light meaning time pauses for him and he can set the presents up when your right there.

He's right santa is just a myth so that little kids make Christmas a whole lot more fun.
