It's just the end of the Mayan calender... Winter solstice 2012... It's not like the Mayan's can predict the future or anything... I mean... Do you guy really believe this?

No one know really what will happened or will it happen. The only one who know is god really. We'll just have to wait and see.

Well... God says only HE knows when the worlds going to end... If you think about it then if somebody predicts the world ending on some day... it's not going to end on that day.

That would in fact be really sad if the world does end.

Well actually at least you two would get some cake on the last day if the world ends.
"God" (not going to make a huge point of it, but the quotations are because I don't believe he exists, and that I'm Atheist, because it would be a bit rude to make a point of it), out there, if he knows when the world ends, why would he not tell us in some sort of way? Maybe because he thinks, well, that if the world ends there's a reason behind it? Or does he think it has something to do with the devil? In that case, shouldn't he tell us?

Well, this means that if there's ever an apocalypse, and, if god exists, I assume he might not know about it.

Oh, and, this coming apocalypse, if it has anything really to do with the mayans, they couldn't of gotten the information from "our" god. They would have known it, and if they got the information, they might have to have learned about it from their gods.

So I dunno, but because of some rambling logic, completely different and a bit simpler than everyone else's, I think, in fact, that if the apocalypse does happen, then the Mayan religion is (most likel) true.

And derp, the logic is useless I guess because it's sort of obvious the world won't end this time.
I would edit all that logic out but I just wasted 5 minutes writing it xD

I think the sun will explode, like other stars do, create a black-hole,and suck every planet in its range- including Earth, and Kah-plup! No more Earth!

I don't think the world will end this year unless some moron starts a nuclear war. Even then the world wouldn't explode, life would just be changed drastically. The amount of nukes it would take to make the Earth explode is impossible to create at this time.

On the Mayans topic: I believe that something will happen on that day, but not the end of the world. Probably either an Enlightening as stated before, or a significant occurrence in space more specifically one visible to the naked human eye.

I was reading something on the internet that said there might be 2 suns visible this year. Our sun and some other star. Possibly that's what will happen on December 21st, but they said it might happen. Not 100% sure.
In other words, that will most likely be the only really big thing that happens this year.
