I was not mean to anyone,I think.But I thought about that and realized why they were mean to kids.
EE is full of kids,of course.It is a GAME.
But younger ones are new here.
e.g.I found this game 4 years ago.When I was 10.(Yes I am 14,you must study maths more.)
They are new in forums,they don't have good grammar and they are usually mean to everyone.Because they are kids.Kids...are mean.Cuz they think they can have anything in life.

It is not an offensive post,ok?
I just told my opinion about it.
I am almost a kid too.

I fail to see this logic, This game wasn't made 4 years ago. Enough said really.

I really don't know what to say on the matter. I dislike the fact that people are ageist and don't like it. I really don't mind anybody no matter the age because losing my temper is rare.

People that can't type properly, is basically what we are hating, it is just coincidental most children fit into this category.

Back in my day (sounding old, but only 18), I weren't on the internet until i was 14. By that time, I could use grammar effectively, spell properly, and (kinda) act mature.

Kids on the internet these days, can barely phrase a sentence.

I agree, 4channers are better than kids. They type full proper sense, unless it is using memes.

See, the me saying typographical error, may be because I'm smart enough to know that, or I got it from Wikipedia. If I got it from Wikipedia, I'm probably classified as "Not very smart."

I disagree. I don't know a single person at my school who doesn't use Wikipedia or google.
Looking things up IS a smart thing to do.

you know, I really bet this lack of intelligence from 11-12 year olds just comes from lack of proper education... people in public school really should be taught subjects like critical thinking and other mental skills needed to survive or cope with people and problems in everyday life. I still find it ridiculous when I'm arguing with a 12-15 year old on the internet, and even sometimes real life (overall a pretty pointless thing to do) and they can't even spell/have any common sense. even at 12, i'm pretty sure that a kid has the mental capacity to be a little sensible. however I am aware that they may not always have that privilege, which is pretty unfortunate.

it's really just better to accept the fact that kids like that exist, and if you come across one I wouldn't really even bother talking to them... I don't enjoy insulting them, knowing that they do, in fact, have feelings (although that's probably a little hard to believe )

...using "they" is kind of weird, considering that I'm 12 myself. it really is hard to talk about your own age group without sounding stupid.

Don't take it the wrong way. It's just a little humor based on fact from experience that minors are not the best at grammar and conventions, exaggerated to make it more humorous.

It does not represent my opinion in any way, shape, or form of minors on the internet. I personally find the younger folk a little bit of fun and excitement; but they can get spammy if they don't control themselves. You know how to control yourself. Congratulations.

I'm sorry you're against the stereotype, but the famous quote: "What is popular is not always right, and what is right is not always popular" (Albert Einstein) definitely applies here, in saying that you are part of the few that are doing the right thing in a mass of children who do the wrong thing.

I would take insults directed at minors to be a generalization, and that generalizations are never applied to everyone in the group.

I'm 12 years old, but see, I don't get offended by Treejoe's comments. Why? Because they are true. He means most kids though, and it's because it's actually true, his opinion is correct. Although I don't feel I am one of those people, as some people think I'm actually 14-15.

As for Takoman's comment you were talking about, he was probably joking/being sarcastic. He has quite a sense of humor. I don't truly see how you could be offended by this.

P.S, I thought this was another "I'm quitting/leaving" topic. Lololol.

I agree with this, being 13 myself.

Besides, on a related note, if you're doing something stupid, and someone questions your age, why say you're older than you are? If you're an 11 year old doing something stupid it would be a lot more understandable than a 40 year old doing something stupid. You just make yourself look stupider if you say you're older than you are.

@Zoey I believe I learned geometric means in Algebra 2 when I was 11.

I'm 14, so I guess I'm straddling the line between kid and not-so-kid.
Like everyone's been saying, it's not being a kid that annoys everyone, it's acting like one.   If you use decent grammar most of the time, and don't act like an immature brat, no one will care about your age.

I'm 14, but I find myself a little more mature them my peers now. I spent the last 9 years of my life in the same private school, and recently switched over to public schooling for high school. I've noticed some things: 1. Age does not always reflect maturity and vice versa. A lot of the people in my new school (not even a bad public school) have drug addictions, criminal records, and are drunk every other weekend. 2. Just because you're older doesn't mean you know proper grammar in any means. I've taken formal English grammar schooling the whole time I was in private school, while a lot of my friends in other schools were only reading simplistic books.
Respect does not depend on age alone. Respect is what you make of it. If you respect others and take care to post maturely, then you might earn other's respect. So age is in some ways irrelevant, where the qualities of the player are weighed heavier by others.
PS: Do I use proper English grammar on all of my posts? Generally I don't really care, because a lot of people don't have as much of an education in the English language (Not arrogance, just my personal experience with the topic) and I don't want them to feel bad about it.

Actually, in this one you do have good grammar but a bit of bad spelling.

Grammar = with it, you look good on the internet.

In real life, maybe school, it depends on what school you're in. You could be the most mature kid there while everyone else is totally immature. In my school, maybe 3 kids are mature and intelligent. I'm one of them.
Not saying I'm the most mature person in the world, though.

lol. First of all, i said this forum not this game, i was talking about people shouldn't be stereotyped. Everyone has equal oppurtunity to get gems and blocks and smileys. Your taking the word equal way to literally. So your saying that the younger ones should be treated like less, and the older ones should be treated better, just because they are older? You can't help your age. Second of all, dont cut my quote short.

Also, weather or not you are better at something, you should still always be treated equally with one another.

Lol. I just undermined my message. Thank you for the kind words, but I usually don't even pay that much attention to the letters I type in, just the paragraph as a whole. We can't say that all children are horrible. Some can be better than older players. If we tell them they're horrible now, how can they ever become good?

When I was 12 on a gaming forum, I would tell people my age, knowing it doesn't matter anyway at all and I'm probably much more experienced than everyone else is anyway, and the older people would simply laugh.

I'm 13 now. And, guess what? I tell people my age and they make quite a paucity of remarks. No one cares if you're 13. but they laugh at you and call you "a noob", and say that you're "stupid" if you say you're 12.

I mean, seriously? I'm only one year older for crying out loud. I was pretty much just as mature last year as I am this year, which, is pretty mature.
