I Have Had Enough.

You are so ageist. 'The kids are noobs.' 'I don't like the younger players.'

I have had enough! esspecially from Treejoe. In the topic who's the next mod he mad a reply that was, if I remember correctly 'I bet the next mod older that 18' but differnt is a mod' and he's not 18, and I think theirs another mod' aswell.
Also, Treejoe gave me a + rep, it said 'Smartest kid on the forums' (Or something like that) later as a reply to a pm I sent to him (regarding the rep) he said 'all the other kids are noobs.' Although it's not calling me one it's still ageist to all the other kids.

TakoMan is another suspect. I remember reading a post of his that said something like 'Nice but I prefer mine *link to 12-year-old translator*' and everything you typed in was shorterned and in capitals.

Just because were young, we still have feelings! Stop writing posts that are ageist, please, and everything will be ok.

Sorry for been annoyed by 11 yr olds on the internet, or constantly seeing 11 yr olds in my life act like spoilt brats. Pretty much nearly every single personunder 12 I see acts stupid.

To be honest MOST under 14 year olds are very annoying in EE, not naming any names, *cough* Blissinged *cough*.

Anyways back on topic, I seriously can't understand, that even in ee, there are people with chat, that are 6-12.... There should be some age verification, as it is easy to bypass the shoddy filters in ee, with a space, or forced punctuation in the words.

And also, MOST can't speak readable English, which is highly frustrating. Just like lecture demonstrated in this topic.

There are a few exceptions to this though.

I dislike how people think they are better than others because of age, or because of any reason. It's okay to not like someone, but don't dislike someone because they are under 13 or whatever age. Im over 13, and its sad how i see so many people discriminated and stereotyped against the younger players.

If everyone saw each other as equal to one another, this forum would be a much better place.

you can't say that under 14 or 13, you have to meet that person then you can say something about them, you cannot group 11 year olds together and say they are noobs. It's about maturity, I have met some who seem like they are 10 yet they are more mature than a lot of others.

EE is full of kids,of course.It is a GAME.
But younger ones are new here.
e.g.I found this game 4 years ago.When I was 10.(Yes I am 14,you must study maths more.)
They are new in forums,they don't have good grammar and they are usually mean to everyone.Because they are kids.Kids...are mean.Cuz they think they can have anything in life.

Ageist isn't even a word, just so you know. (okay, well, I just looked it up and apparently it is but it sounds really stupid.) And I have a lot of good reasons as to why I hate most younger players. Reasons being that they're usually completely bigoted, self-centered, immature brats. And stupid.
And is it wrong for thinking that the next mod would be 18+? After all, eighteen year olds are generally more mature than kids. And before you're all, 'BUT ZOAY, AGE != MATURITY' I know that! But still! The majority of kids are not as mature as the majority of adults. That's a fact. And mods typically are required to be mature so they don't die if they see gorn, and also so they don't ban random people.
And why are you getting mad for being complimented? You're a KID, so what. It's an age group. Like potatoes and fruit are food groups.
You're not as smart as most adults BECAUSE you are kids. But still, you learn things with age. I definitely didn't know that the geometric mean of 2 and 6 is 3.5 (rounded to the nearest tenth) when I was 12 because I didn't even know what a geometric mean was. I didn't know what it was two days ago. You learn things with age, so kids naturally seem stupid to people older than them, it's BECAUSE of their age. When I looked at my diary from 2009, I laughed at how naive and stupid I was and then I proceeded to throw it away because the stupidity was overwhelming.

We know that not all x year olds are stupid.

Perhaps you should stop being so sensitive and chillax at the fact that people are older than you and are better than you in several things just for the sheer fact that they're older than you.

Because he's older. And probably a genius.

And I think it's more of stereotyping than discrimination, and just because you've proven yourself not to be part of that stereotype doesn't mean they're biased against everyone who still hasn't proven to be against the stereotype.

If you don't want people to see you as a fool, then don't be one. Plain and simple.

I'm 12 years old, but see, I don't get offended by Treejoe's comments. Why? Because they are true. He means most kids though, and it's because it's actually true, his opinion is correct. Although I don't feel I am one of those people, as some people think I'm actually 14-15.

As for Takoman's comment you were talking about, he was probably joking/being sarcastic. He has quite a sense of humor. I don't truly see how you could be offended by this.

P.S, I thought this was another "I'm quitting/leaving" topic. Lololol.

       I am the youngest of 6 people in my family (not including parents). If there is anything i have learned, older doesn't mean better. Experience/practice=better, older age =/= better. One of my brothers is about a year and a half older than me. We are in the same math and spanish class (im advanced). My grades are actually better than him, because i study and work hard and study, experience/practice = better. He is better than me at golf, why? Because he has been playing golf for 2 years longer than me and practices a lot, which is another example of experience/practice = better. So yes, im better than him at some things, and he is better than me at some things. But just because he is older doesn't mean he is better.

Yes, i know you said "several things" but they are not better "just for the sheer fact that they're older than you." they are better because they practice and have experience, regardless of the age.

Also, weather or not you are better at something, you should still always be treated equally with one another.

When I was 5, I saw other people tlkng like dis so i shortnd evrywer i posibly could. Now I use all my grammars because I don't care what the other people are doing. The younger people are more impressionable and imo tend to be a little more annoying.

Anyone someone says is immature, stupid, a brat, who is maybe younger than 13- How in heck do you know what kind of person they are? This is a forum. Our community is based off of a video game.

Take note of this:
Everyone who has terrible grammar = No one thinks they're intelligent, whether they are or not.
Everyone who has good grammar = Thought of as intelligent.

This is a forum, guys. Most intelligent appearances are formed from the way you type.

And yes, there is some other things that affect how people see you, like, if you just say something stupid, even if it's not grammatical stupidity.

I'm 13.
Honestly, I see myself as mature. Even if I'm not, I'm definitely more mature than every single person at my school, which makes me proud of myself.

To older ones:

First, the "Just because were young we don't have feelings!" thing must just be a typographical error, or typo.
See, the me saying typographical error, may be because I'm smart enough to know that, or I got it from Wikipedia. If I got it from Wikipedia, I'm probably classified as "Not very smart." People may lie about their age though and pass off as a smart 6 year old or something. But it may be a younger one, meaning that kids CAN be smart. I mnea, ploepe nurde threteni nac dear sith. Right? They're smart enough at least to do something like that. Most kids, though, are just dumb and undeveloped. Others can be gifted, trained, or born smarter somehow. I think it's half and 49/50. The 1/50, plain slow that don't know a crap. People can also speak different languages than English, and they may have to use a translator, but they don't work well. Example: Say "This translator fails, I think all shall fail too." In Google translator. Translate to Japanese: "???????????????????????????????????????" Now translate it back to English: "This translator, I believe that too fails, all fail."
Japanese kids will not understand what it means anyway and say this in the chat:
"This translator, I believe that too fails, all fail."
You'd think WTF?! But he could still be very smart.

Younger ones:
Do not listen to those that despise us. Ignore them. But don't act too dumb in front of people you have never met yet, or they may think you're dumb period and tell other people about that. If you're really smart, act like it.

And to all: Why does age matter?
I was tired when making this post, so don't type any offense to it until the morning please.

And you say most younger players are stupid but you seem to treat all younger players like they are. Although 18+ year olds are usually more mature than children, not all 18+ year olds are. And no, these 18+ guys (or girls) don't have disabilities. I'm a mod'/admin' on some forums and I can delete a topic (or snip something) if I can see gorn. I can ban a user without going against my powers. Does this mean I'm mature? no, it means I am trusted enough by the forum owner. Your dad may be a moron sometimes but we get treated as if we were that moron. Potatoes and fruit are not food groups (I have a feeling you may be trolling me, but ohh well), the food groups are: Carbohydrates (sugar and starch), fat, sugar, protien, vitamins and minerals, fibre and water. Yes you do learn with age but we don't all learn the same things. You might of only learned what geometric was a few days ago but someone else your age might of learned it a few years before from school. But they might not know what an estimate is because nobody ever told them.

I will not chillax because adults are only better if they have more practice and experience as Jaybm says in a later post. And Twipply wins all the debates because he can last longer without giving up.

I'm trying not to be a fool, but when your younger it's harder, and when you have all these strangers discriminating you at the same time it's twice as hard.

@Shift: Lecture, and the other kids think its cool to type with everything short, and lots of smileys because thats how he wants to type. He's typing how he wants to so let him do so. An adult may type like that because it's how they prefer too. An example would be my mum. My mum makes stuff shorter, she doesn't go overboard and do every word, but she does it to some words, becasuse it's how she wants to type.
@KRAZYMAN50: I did not read the part aged at older people as it was not aimed at me, but I believe you shouldn't do that because we all can read and have an opinion about stuff, so I would like an opion on the top part. But because you wish of me to do so I will only read the rest of the post and reply to that.

Ages does not matter, but people treat it as it does. I'm trying to make it not matter in the EE forum, so it will all be fair.

I started to type this post just before 7:30 in the morning and it's now 11:00, so I may of missed posts that were added within the time I was typing this. Thanks.
