Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Minecraft 1.1!

I like the idea of making it gold nuggets rather than gold ingot (makes loads more sense IMO), but the whole tweaking the regen thing was a mistake, yeah. I mean, with the old gold ingot, all you had to do was punch some trees and mine for some gold or. With the new one, you have to punch some trees and enter the freaking nether, killing at least eight zombie pigmen, likely attracting more to come slay you. Regen times should've stayed the same.

Re: Minecraft 1.1!

Why do you need to enter the Nether?

For one, apples grow from trees now.
Second, you can easily make 9 gold nuggets using 1 gold ingot.

Re: Minecraft 1.1!

If you ask me, the golden apple has become seriously underrated. It's not very easy to get an apple, but once you have an iron pickaxe and a good cave, you'll be swimming in golden apples. Plus the regeneration time has been decreased dramatically. Only about 4 seconds. What my point is Mojang's took out the fun of finding a golden apple. Not much of a prize anymore.

Re: Minecraft 1.1!

I never wanted a golden apple because it seemed expensive and pointless, besides why can't diamond blocks be a replacement reward rather than a Golden Apple?

Also is it just me or is the regeneration HP speed a little bit slower with full hunger?

I love the update, but I think Minecraft is slowly crawling its way from its true purpose and is becoming more like WoW, but that doesn't stop the game from being addictive.
