Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Need programming tutor. Can't understand online tutorials well.

OK, so I want to start programming, but nobody will teach me how. So, will anybody teach me how? If you can I will give +1 rep //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Lots of people here know programming well. Just wait for those people to come here.

And I know a thing or two about basic proggramming, but I'm not that good at explaining. However, I do recomend Gamemaker 8.0. Follow the tutorial carfully and if theres something you don't get just search the forums (the yoyo ones of course) and if you still can't find anything ask the forums. Once you understand how you made the tutorial game make soe more of your own. When you get better at it go onto the second tutorial and try learning that (It's in advanced mode). Then make loads of games! and if you like it so much buy pro!
And if you follow this, remember the yoyo forums are is your friend!

Wow, you want me to teach you how to program in exchange for +1 rep?   That's an awful generous offer of you!   Please, let me just clear my schedule for the next few years so we can properly explore your language of choice together and I can get my +rep.

How old are you?
Do you like maths?
Are you good at maths?
Do you like logic/math puzzles?
Are you good at logic/math puzzles?
Are your thoughts ordered?
Do you have any programming languages in mind?

Re: Need programming tutor. Can't understand online tutorials well.

Just to warn you, if you aren't good at memorizing than you might as well be learning how to speak fluent Latin. Which, tbh, might be easier than C++ - I haven't fully observed the language. But you understand my point.

Not everyone can just learn to program at the drop of a hat, it does require specific attitudes and characteristics.

Scripting is very different, and has nothing to do with bots or EE.

I already know some HTML, but that was not what I asked for.

Oh happy day.   C++ is one of the few languages I know something about.

Do you have an IDE & compiler?   I suggest you get this one.   You'll probably want the codeblocks-10.05mingw-setup.exe file.   It contains the IDE (Integrated development environment) known as Code::Blocks, and the compiler MinGW.

The IDE is what you type stuff into, the compiler is what turns it into the .exe at the end.   If you have other questions, or want some basic programs writing for you in C/C++, then just PM me.

I know a little about C# console applications if that interests you.

Console apps aren't exactly beautiful to run, but it gets the job done.

What type of bot did you have in mind?

You may already have some experience with other languages, I dunno.   In any case, I've been told that it's much better to learn an introductory language before C++ or C# to help get you integrated and thinking in code.

Domini caeli.

I actually found out that "DOMINI CAELI" and "domini caeli" mean two different things.

"THE LORD OF HEAVEN"
"the Lord the heavens"

Only proving my point how hard Latin is, I suppose.

I was thinking of a command bot, which you tell a bot of your account to do so in your level, like if you said "bot clear level" or "bot disconnect guests" or "bot give _______ the code" Etc.

Cheatsman: Coding isnt something you learn overnight, it takes quite a while

Take a look at a C++ IDE (Visual c++ is great) and check out the devpack on PlayerIO.com, reference the dlls to your prodject and take a look at the documentation! (its in c# and as3 btw :/ )

Player Since 2011. I used to make bots and stuff.
