Discussion: Sea Monsters

Hey everyone.

Does anybody else like I believe in large sea monsters? Monsters that would dwarf a blue whale in size.
With the ocean being largely unexplored, many people theorize things such as Megalodon isn't extinct and lives in the Marianas Trench. It wouldn't be illogical for something like that to remain undetected.

Everybody might ask "Where's the evidence?" with almost no evidence of any significantly large being living in the ocean, there is something we can use as evidence.

Bloop
Julia
Quacker
Slow Down
Train
Upsweep
Whistle

All of which are very interesting.
With evidence comes skepticism, many people relate these sounds to things such as Volcanoes, Earthquakes, etc.
However, several of these noises have been compared to phenomena such as earthquake with almost none of them sounding like earthquakes, and no recorded seismic activity was in the area.

Bloop is the most interesting of them all, being most famous, less like anything known.
Marine Biologist believe that the noise sounds like an animal. However, anything's possible.
With the noise coming from over 5,000 KM (3,100 Miles), meaning the source of the sound is VERY large.

So, do you believe that monsters larger than anything we could ever guessed exist in the depths of our unexplored, mysterious ocean?

Re: Discussion: Sea Monsters

I believe the sea monster may be some type of dragon, they must dwell in the oceans hiding from humans the best way possible, or over the skies somewhere.

I'm in love with a dragon <3

Re: Discussion: Sea Monsters

Yeah, I think it might just be a not-so-fully-evolved dinosaur, or maybe just hoaxes and mirages.

Dragons type creatures are possible.

Heck, one might be able to breathe fire and fly for some distance.

They could still survive without coming to the surface.but,
They'll have to resort to Cannibalism.

Colossal squid. That thing is practically a monster and exists for certain. As for sea dragons? You gotta be kiddin. Like maybe some small water-breathing nothasaur survived and is still alive, but I doubt it.

Re: Discussion: Sea Monsters

It's possible.

I love the idea of a Loch Ness monster, though, or Cthulhu or something equally badass.

Why do unidentified sounds have to be monsters?

False, that means that it is an ELF or a VLF wave. The idea of a sound as proof of a sea monster is absurd.
