^Don't lie, jaybm. Mac Book Pro's screen is so dim...
Anyway, give the man his answer. Go to Applications>Utilities>Grab.app

That let's you grab screenshots, but it saves them as .tiff. Nobody likes .tiff. None of the top 5 browsers can display it without a plugin.
