Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I can't control my laptop so I don't know how to take a screenshot. It's internet explorer on a PC laptop. Can someone tell me how? I'll +rep you.
^EDIT^ Okay, to be even more specific, it's an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC.

Find a youtube video with it!
look at the keyboard and hit the button that says prtscrn or prtsc. that button takes a screenshot and copies it to your clipboard. you can paste it in paint or photoshop to crop out what you want.

What laptop do you have? Some don't have Prt Scr button on their keyboard.
So you don't have to wander around looking for the button;
You could just copy the whole page pixel by pixel, colour by colour on MS Paint
Hold down Fn and then hit PrtSc. That is if you have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Okay, I think I did it, but how do you get to your clipboard? Or does it just pop up? Because if it does, I'm doing it wrong. If it doesn't, can someone tell me how to get to it?

Make sure to press shift, otherwise you just press SysRq.
Jeremifer, what browser you REALLY should use
Don't listen to any of these people.
Click the lower middle button.
Create a screenie of the specified area by clicking and dragging.
Press enter. There's even an option to automatically copy the uploaded URL to your clipboard.
Easy as pie.
Why use this? It is a great app for your computer, it does the cropping and uploading with ease, and localhostr is a very reliable source for uploading.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Okay I'm truly hopeless, so now how do I get this picture into Everybody Edits forums? I got the screenshot into paint, and now I need to get it into the forums.
Put the picture onto some sort of picture hosting website and create an URL for the picture.
Paste the url inside;
I went to the Localhostr website and I'm not downloading anything. Thanks for trying to help, but I'll pass on that. Could anyone request the picture hosting website that they use? Thanks.
I have to admit that this is dishonesty and a disgrace to us.
Calling newcomers idiots is a bad lesson and telling other what to do is just plain idiocity.
Keep yourself on the course, please.
What?

Let's get back on topic, yes? I STILL don't know how to get the stupid pictures into the forums! And Jeremifer, you knd of called all newcomers idiots. Just saying.

You can use this as a screen shot tool: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta … akblofbmce
If you have windows 7 listen to me:
Search your computer for the "Snipping Tool" You can drag and take a pic of where ever you want to. Save it.
Then you can upload it to a image sharing website. Popular one: http://imageshack.us/
Best one: http://imgur.com/
Then you either type:
Or press that neat little little button here:
Which gives you:
Then you paste the link of the photo into the middle like this

And then post
Hope I helped
