PS2 or PS3?

Which console do you think is better?

I think PS2, as it has the legendary 'Destroy All Humans!' Originals. If you haven't tried them, do! They are AMAZING!

[sarcasm] While that isn't a very good argument [/sarcasm], the PS2 is cheaper and has better games. The Star Wars Battlefront Originals, the Destroy All Humans! Originals and the Jak & Daxter Originals. The only thing it doesn't have is LBP, but that isn't the end of the world. Just admit it, nothing is better than the PS2!

I believe PS3 is better, because it has the online feature which makes games with online capabilities take awhile to get boring, I'd admit the "Destroy All Humans" series was good but it gets boring after awhile, a good series on PS3 is the Call of Duty series, and LBP1 and 2. Also you can meet new people using the PS3, also internet use, and Netflix. PS3 overall is better, although there were some really awesome PS2 games, I've found even better PS3 games.

I've only played one PlayStation game. I believe it was on the second, but it may have been the first. It was Red Dead Revolver, and this was years before Red Dead Redemption came out. (I'm not gonna say it was good, it wasn't, that's why so little copies were sold and it was unknown)

I prefer the PS2 because I can't buy a PS3 - a simple PS3 (1200 of the currency here, reais) costs DOUBLE the minimum wage here (622 reais), so yeah... Underdeveloped countries are crap.

I used to have a PS1 But then I skipped to a PS3 slim, missing the PS2 out.

Though I can't really compare the two (PS2 & PS3), this because I dont have both. I believe the PS3 is better purely because the software on it is more updated. This being it is a newer version of the console. And the PS3 has more features then the PS2. IMO the games you suggested are irelevant to MY part of the argument. I have never played them, apart from LBP. (actually I have played jak & daxter on my PSP), so Im assuming you cant get those games on the PS3?

Features the PS3 has:
(tell me if these are available to PS2 users)

- Play TV ( the ability to watch tv on you ps3 )
- Playstation move ( sort of allows you to use the console as a wii ingame, possibly able on the ps2 )
- Wi-Fi ( providing you have wireless wi-fi, you can go on the internet with your console ) (I actually played ee on my PS3 once )

- The PS3 is the newest of the playstations, therefore it must be better then previous ones

I probably missed some key ones out, so feel free to notify me
