Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

On my computers, yes. Except for one. But that one died a few months ago. And w/ turbo Opera is 17.5 times faster.

In general? I wouldn't know. I tried it once on a few school computers. I got it installed once. That time, I typed in "google.com" and it crashed. True story.

For me:
IE: guest-bombing on new laptop
Opera: alt bombing, after 12 alts on firefox
FFX: tinychat[doesnt work on chrome] guest bombing and or alt bombing.
chrome: normal browser, seems fastest, though crashes a lot :/
logos
firefox: neat, has a fiery fox circling the earth
chrome: cool beachball icon, has green
opera: i don't like red :s
ie: i liked it at first, but got used to it xp
idk what the mm one is, I'll try it when I get a chance
Did you look at the studies I posted?
Yes, I did, but how will people know if Opera works faster if they never try it? Even if it is slightly slower than chrome for other people, it's got Speed dial, Mail, IRC, RSS, Notes, And a customizable everything to make up for it. With skins, and a few opera:config changes I could make Opera look like an exact clone of Firefox or Chrome if I wanted to.

No, and frankly I'm not interested in the other people. I'm interested in Chrome because it is faster than the rest as clearly shown by these studies which have put forth utter authenticity.
Furthermore, I enjoy the simplicity and plethora of add-ons that Chrome provides. (I want you to go to the Chrome extensions page, and scroll down. It will take several minutes.) Opera has not given these things to me; other than the add-ons, which do not seem to be half that of Google Chrome.
Unfortunately I take no more interest in arguing opinions here; you prefer Opera because of its flexibility, and I honestly couldn't care less about flexibility and thus I can't relate to how you see it as a crucial factor found in web browsers.
Good day.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

NO FAIR WHY ARE YOU MOD TOO!?
lol
Guys. I have all those browsers except Maxthon. I have Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Comodo Dragon and IE.

Everything you just listed is included when you change your homepage to iGoogle, YouTube, etc, on any browser.
The point stands: speed >> customization.
I use firefox.
What's so great about maxathon?
What's so great about maxathon?
1. It's Maxthon(?).
2.It has some really nice built-in features (The ability to save youtube videos/flash games to your computer, translator, skin manager)
3. It can have quite a small UI if you wish (More space for websites 1smile1)

1. Whoopdidoo.
2. *Ctrl+Shift+I* *click* *right click* *click* *save* on Opera.
3. The Opera UI can become around 30 pixels tall (including tab bar and status bar) and still usable if you move things around a bit.
Everything you just listed is included when you change your homepage to iGoogle, YouTube, etc, on any browser.

Hm... only one home page? With Opera I would just set a few speed dials. And iGoogle and YouTube aren't that customizable to be honest... with Opera the IRC and Email are both completely customizable with CSS.
No, and frankly I'm not interested in the other people.
:O

Faster for some. If Opera was faster for you wouldn't you care if they had shown Opera at it's peak?
Furthermore, I enjoy the simplicity and plethora of add-ons that Chrome provides. (I want you to go to the Chrome extensions page, and scroll down. It will take several minutes.) Opera has not given these things to me; other than the add-ons, which do not seem to be half that of Google Chrome.
Opera may not have many addons, but the few it has (compared to Chrome) are awesome.[tl;dr] With 2 clicks I can upload any image to my imgur account. With 3 clicks and two button presses I can set speed dial logo of any page so that my speed dial looks cleaner. With 1 I can measure any space (useful for signatures, btw). With two I can instantly shorten a url with bit.ly goo.gl tinyurl is.gd... and a few others. Since I use PHP a lot, I use this one extension that shows me all the info obtained through the headers with one click. Two clicks and I've saved all my tabs for later.[/tl;dr]
On Chrome I see.... mostly things I've seen in the Opera store, or things I could make with Panels and a link in 5 minutes.
Unfortunately I take no more interest in arguing opinions here; you prefer Opera because of its flexibility, and I honestly couldn't care less about flexibility and thus I can't relate to how you see it as a crucial factor found in web browsers.
You're not interested in having a browser that fits you? :/ To me, that just seems weird.
Good day.
Doubt it. I fell into a river today.

I tried Maxthon and was instantly horrified by how clumsy its UI is. I decided it wasn't worth using it so I uninstalled it.
Care to explain?
