Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Me.

As you saw on Takoman02's Topic, Picture of Yourself, I posted a pic of me, obviously, and I just wanted to say that I am like that because of who I am. When I get made fun of I get sad. I am 'emo' but I do not cut myself. I find that horrible. I'm just your average goth, I listen to screamo, wear dark clothing, etc. So my point here is that I get made fun of a lot and I don't like it. I am who I am because of what I go through in my life. If I'm not listening to screamo, I'm listening to sad songs. I know, I'm crazy, but that's just me.

Re: Me.

Errr... I hope you know I'm imitating the buffoons who act like that. I got banned for a week because some dimwit couldn't understand I was joking even though it was blatantly obvious. Yeah dude, do whatever the hell you want. And especially don't give a crap about what people on the internet say. They like to be **** cuz they know they will never actually have anything to do with you in real life.

Re: Me.

You were made that way so you shouldn't let people change you by them making fun of you. Those people probably had hard times themselves and they just want to make fun of others to make themselves feel better.
I saw your pic and there isn't nothing funny bout it.

Re: Me.

I expected something strange when I went to look at your picture. But no, I don't see anything wrong with you. Who said it is right to be normal? People were made to be different, just ignore the **** that quite possibly don't understand that. You are who you are. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

Nothing wrong with that.

Echo is a noise that repeats itself over and over. Slowly decreasing in volume...

If you are yourself why do you follow one fashion trend and music style?

And general behavior.

I don't think people try to be categorized; being labeled happens naturally based on outward appearances and personality. Not cutting yourself does not stop these labels. People will stereotype off of something as silly as your shoes. I personally have been called "emo" several times just because of my hair.

Honestly, what people think of you doesn't matter in school. But in our politically correct society, as an adult, appearance matters greatly.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

There is no religion behind his statement. Ever heard of DNA? Yeah, your life isn't exactly whatever you want it to be. I wouldn't go as far as to say it affects your appearance and music taste, but nevertheless the point stands.

Re: Me.

I don't get it myself, honestly. I was a bit annoyed reading people being all 'lol y u dress so strange' and then I was going to be all 'dude wtfux u talkin bout, he looks pro' but I just didn't. Either way, who gives a flying **** what people think of you because of how you dress, I mean honestly. If I were to dress how I'd like to dress, without any concern about school dress code or money or public opinion, I'd be constantly shunned by my peers. I find I don't care. You are who you are and it doesn't matter what people think.

Re: Me.

How you wish to express yourself to the world should be entirely down to you and what you think.   If you like the way you are, then stay that way forever more.   If you don't, then feel free to change it.   If others don't like it, then who cares about them.

religious talk

I saw no religious talk here.   He was likely made the way he was through genetics and upbringing.   While his upbringing may have included religion, I see no reason to assume that it did, or why that would even lead him down an emo/goth route anyway.

pointless argument

As long as there is even a remote chance that someone will read the words of an argument and be better for it, I can't consider it worthless.   Besides that, they often amuse me.
