This isn't against the rules

I was checking out the new forum made by xt990 also known as "Exiled" on the forums.

I'm here to give you guys a review of what I have observed over the forum.

Legend:
This means that the forum only has it
Both of these forums have it.
Only EE forums has this

This forum has a currency. These allow them to buy VIP, Name Changes, Announcements, or certain user titles and this forum is also hiring staff right now. Also they have a shoutbox that isn't fully developed yet.
They both have a set up rules system, Uses Forumify Forum Host, and Has common events
Only EE Forumify has : Custom Smileys, Online Game, Many Daily Members

Well overall i must say the forum is well designed and thought out. I'm not saying you should join the site but i'm not saying that you should ignore it. Both forums have an advantage over one another. And seriously I joined and i think the website is worth joining.

Agreed. Actually as a matter of fact I'm online right now and we are giving out 100 credits for every user that signs up saying a specific username on the forum for who the referal was from. It's actually a contest at the moment. We need more members. The more the better. If we can manage to atleast get a few members to join that'll be great. I'm on daily working on the site.

It is against the rules because this is general discussions of Everybody Edits. This has nothing to do with EE.

Well its not against the rules in technical terms. Read the rules. They say they prefer that you post in the correct section. They didn't say its Preffered

The correct spelling is preferred. We prefer you post in the correct section. If you post in the wrong section on purpose you gonna get smacked.
