Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Larry worked at a terrible factory. He worked 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, and little pay.
Then there was "the machine"- the huge manufacturing monster that was laying everybody at the factory off, and Larry was next.
The factory made toothpaste. The machine put on caps.
Larry's job was to put on caps.
Yes, he hated this machine. And it couldn't be very good for the environment- Larry was a bit of a hippie.
One day, Larry decided to rid the factory of this horrid machine. A plan, not a complex one, but a plan, devised in his head.
The next day, it was time for action.
Larry went to work, like every normal day, put on his uniform, like every normalnd walked to the cap department, like every normal day.
But this was definately not a normal day.
His plan started when he started walking to his station- which he machine was right next to. He casually started his work. at lunch, his mind was set. While everybody else was going ot get a Big Mac or a Whopper, he stayed at his station and waited.
Everyone was gone. it was now or never.
Larry checked the machine- it was coated with a fine nickel coating with no creases. He took a crowbar from the supply cabinet and started work.
He was ripping the nickel off.
It took about a half an hour, and lunch was only an hour long. He was running out of time.
He found a small crease. He started riping at it with his crowbar. It took at least 20 minutes to open a hole big enough to fit through.
He climbed into the machine.
He was going to destroy the machine from the inside out.
He heard voices coming. He had to work quickly.
Very quickly.
He started hacking at a gear with his crowbar.
The voices got closer.
Too close.
He heard their conversation. It was basicaly wondering how the machine got mauled.
They started paching up the hole. Larry couldn't leave, he'd be fired for sure. He had to wait it out and hope they wouldn't fire the machine up; hopefully they'd call for help to see if the machine was sereously damaged.
He heard the conveyor belt start to hum, and his partner, Joe, start work.
He heard another noise.
Then he recognised it.
It was the machine.
"No!" he screamed. "Stop!"
Nobody heard him, and the gears started spinning.
Larry's world started spinning with it.
Then it went black.

Joe noticed the machine was starting to glitch.
He walked over and took off the nickel coating.
He opened the vault that the company had installed.
He shined his flashlight into the machined, and fainted.
There was a face, mouth twisted into a scream, staring back at him.

It's kind of gory, but that's just my sick mind at work
deetz, if you like scary stories. Not because for the effects, but for stories that are abnormal, watch the twilight zone.
bumppity bumpitty bump
At the start it sounds a bit like the start of WIlly Wonka's chocolate factory. :3
Yeah, I noticed that as I was writing it. Actually, now that you mention it, this whole story is kind of like Willy Wonka gone wrong.
What a new take on this usually sickening story.
HYEWG BUMPP!!!!
