Your Minecraft Story (Diamond Speedrun, Hardcore)

Speedrun 1 - FAIL

1) Got 4 wood
2) Turned into 12 planks
3) Positioned like this:

(Plank)3 (Plank)
(Plank)3 (Plank)

4) Shiftclicked for 8 sticks and a crafting table
5) Made wooden pick, got 3 cobblestone
6) Distracted by creeper, and it exploded for 6 cobblestone
7) Got 2 more cobblestone
8) Positioned like this:

(C.S.)1 (C.S.)0 (C.S.)1
(C.S.)1 (C.S.)1 (C.S.)1

9) Put 2 sticks in the middle and bottom middle position
10) Made stone pick
11) Mined 3 close-by Iron Ores
12) Smelted with 5 Wooden Planks, eventually replaced with nearby coal
13) Made iron pick, left the friends behind (Craftin' table and furnace)
14) Killed a spider in a cave and slaughtered by one-block lava digging straight down

Speedrun 2 - FAIL
1) Got 4 wood
2) Turned into 12 planks
3) Positioned like this:

(Plank)3 (Plank)

4) Shiftclicked for 8 sticks and a crafting table
5) Made wooden pick, got 3 cobblestone digging straight down
6) Jumped on top of crafting table, blocked top and made stone pick
7) Hit iron (4 vein) (with 21 cobble)
8) Made a furnace
9) Smelted using 5 Wooden Planks
10) Dug straight down again but this time with 2 holes instead of 1
11) Fell into an underground ravine
12) Used cobblestone to get back up and made an iron pick
13) Dug down, hit lava and died due to creeper explosion

Speedrun 3 - FOUND
1) Got 4 wood
2) Turned into 12 planks
3) Positioned like this:

(Plank)3 (Plank)

4) Shiftclicked for 8 sticks and a crafting table
5) Made wooden pick, got 3 cobblestone while finding ravine
6) Made stone pick via Crafting Table
7) Hit iron (4 vein)
8) Made a furnace after collecting more Cobblestone
9) Smelted using 5 Wooden Planks
10) Dug straight down after Iron smelted and I made iron pick
11) Blocked the top
12) Hit redstone and dug further, and found something RARER than Diamond, Adamantite from the Simple Ores mod (I did not plan for that! Diamond could have spawned there too at a higher rate. I consider Mythril as to not count, because that is as common as in the middle of Stone and Coal in cave systems)

What was YOUR Diamond Speedrun story?
By the way, it's not really a "story", but I couldn't find a better word. I don't know. Experience? Okay then. (This isn't a story as in what happened without interaction, so I don't think this should be in Creative)

Download and Install TooManyItems mod.
Get "111" diamonds.
Done.

I wrote a Personal Narrative for my teacher and it was about my first time playing Minecraft, if I find it I'll post it. Even though it has nothing to do with Diamond Speedrun or Hardcore.
