Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Alright, so in my taskbar, there are these little programs that pop up for everything.
It's annoying.
Basically, they just pop up over time for no apparent reason, it doesn't have to do with clicking on anything, or changing pages, they just pop up. Usually there is one folder, and a whole slew of programs. They pop up at random, when I don't want them (All the time) they come, when I do want them (Now, for a picture,) they don't really come. THey come one at a time.
Anyway, when I click on any of them, they disappear. When I click on any program in the taskbar, in fact, they disappear. When I scroll over them to see if I can get a picture of the program, they are blank.
Help!
Pictures: (Gah! Come up already) (PrntScr'ed because of lazy) (Gah, there's one. Or two, same thing)
Help?
EDIT: Things I forgot to mention:
1. I use Windows 8
2. This is a new laptop.
3. This happens with all programs.
(Oooh, look, more!)
(That folder just contains more of them)
EDIT 2: I'm not sure if it comes up when I have no programs open other than the desktop. I'll try to find out.
EDIT 3: Yes, yes it does:

Have you visited any suspicious sites lately? Or a site you haven't visited since lately?

You're using an evaluation build of Windows 8, of course there will be bugs.

I know, but I seem to remember this happening before I switched to 8...
I'm running Win 8 on my testing machine as well and noticed this on or two times. Filed a bug Report and reset the machine, now everything works fine. I'd suggest that you either check the PC via the included Anti-Virus or Format it and reinstall Windows 8. Shouldnt be much of a hassle since no one uses a consumer preview on a productivity machine.

Ok, I guess it's just my mind messing with me and making me think it happened on 7 too.
