Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

But if you are going to say that they are different you should put the other things just like it in.
Example: Christianity and Catholicism are just as different to Koshint? and Jinja-shint?.

I don't know why any of them can be classified as equal. If you're Catholic, you don't tell people you're Christian - you tell people you're Catholic.

Yes, they may be similar in ways, but the differences are crucial and must be observed.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Non-denominationalism, but if i really have to choose one else, i would choose pastafarianism. And you haven't to count pastafarianism as atheism, because it's not. Absolutly not.

Well, Pastafarianism may not be atheism, but it's also not a real religion.   Just a parody intended to satirize.

And can we all just shut up about the C vs. C debate?   It won't be changed, ever, end of story.   It's not even that big of a deal.

*Questions whether or not that account was made just to post that.*

(Yes Boh, I am being twitchy.)

I guess if the Catholics want to be called Christian, they can say that. If they don't categorize it as the same thing, let it be.

Alright, here ya go. You're going to have to add every single one of these (minus the followers, which I wasn't going to take out). I mean, [b]if you don't, you're committing a form of oppression against every single one of these, except for "Catholic" (Which you'll note doesn't exist! There are sects of that.)

Roman Catholic Church - 1,185,168,538 Eastern Catholic Churches - 14,831,462 Maronite Syriac Church of Antioch ? 3 million Syriac Catholic Church ? 132 thousand Chaldean Catholic Church ? Also note that there are more that are not included.

Basically, what I'm getting at is this:

There is no such religion as JUST CHRISTIANITY! YOU CANNOT BE JUST A CHRISTIAN! YOU HAVE TO BE ONE OF THESE (formally!)
I find you saying "Catholic" and "Christian" as two different things as extremely offending (Yes, I am being serious,) and I believe you are being oppressive on Catholics, otherwise you would put them together like they should be, and like we've been telling you to!

I refuse to comprehend how I would be able to get a warning for this, as I find the OP to be very offensive, and I want to point that out so that it can be corrected. So just do it.

Re: What Religion Are You? (NOT A DEBATE)

How about no.   This is my topic.   If you don't like it, you don't have to look at it.   End of story.

(Wait, postscript.   That little 'oppressive' bit made me laugh.   Catholics have had it better than most religions.   Take the Jews in the Nazi era, Muslims now.   You can refer back to older times, when 300 Roman Catholics were put to death between 1535 and 1681, but that doesn't count, 'cause it was for treason.)

It took me a while to remember and then find, but perhaps this is relevant or at least interesting.   It sounds to me like they're quite different things.   Feel free to find some primary sources for what he said, if you wish.

A very serious Pastafarian.

I'm not saying that they are not different in ways. What I am saying is that no one is just Christian. (There are non-nondenominational Christians, but few, and considered Protestant anyway). We should all be grouped as one, or all grouped differently, as in the sects stated in my above post. In the case of this thread, it should all be Christian. You'll note Here that in the table of Contents, there is a "Christian" but no "Catholic." And   and [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_religious_groups#Largest_religions_or_belief_systems_by_number_of_adherents]Here/url], where "Catholic" is also not present, but "Christianity."

I am Christian [CoE], yet I do not believe there is God or any other higher power.
I do believe in the content of the religion and what we can learn from it.

I honestly think people like this are awesome. Obviously my religion makes it so that I believe they are incorrect, but I still find it awesome.

I requested a lock because, thanks to xputnameherex, this topic has devolved into a debate.

If you don't agree with a topic, stay the hell away

(In the grand scheme of things, atheists posted the most.   Win!)
